It will get exciting when we get Halo 5 numbers. Not really the good kind of exciting though.
Maybe he values REQ packs more than you, or maybe $420 isn't that big of a hit to him due to his work, doesn't mean he has a silver spoon.

The only thing i correctly predicted was that my predictions would be terrible... yay.
The only reason I personally didn't think it would was due to how poorly the price drop rollout was handled by SCEA's marketing, along with the Uncharted Collection's marketing.
I mean, if people expect for consumers to inform themselves or grow eagerness to buy your product by themselves I got some news to tell you. The effort can be best described as piss poor.
Halo marketing was pretty good and that's just about enough, even with the decline. Says a lot about SCEA marketing but I am like a broken record now on that. There is also a planning component to go along with it that Sony in general is missing the mark on too.
So the 90% of months that it has lost were undeserved because it's "well built"?

But anyone who thought that the Uncharted Collection would compete with Halo 5 certainly is certainly misguided. Plus when that's being used by Xbox-leaning individuals as an reason to be shocked by these results... It's rather suspicious.
But I can't prove anything so there's not much more I can say on the matter. I've flown too close to the sun before and I don't plan on doing it again.
PS4 was well built for those months, but not this month. This month it is poorly built.

so "several magnitudes" higher than Halo would put Fallout 4's sales into the billions or tens of billions.

I would have been a bit surprised if halo didn't give the Xbox a boost past ps4. Curious the gap.
Next month should be interesting. 299 bundles a plenty for both systems.

Arguably better, and arguably worse. Statement means nothing.
Sony probably should have also released some sort of Assassin's Creed Unity bundle as well. It probably would have been more attractive than the Uncharted Bundle at $350.

For me, it's not so much the impending bundles as much as it is Black Friday being right around the corner. I need another PS4 (current one is in the living room, need one for the bedroom), but with BF looming, I'm sitting on it for now (though I may bite on the Target Cartwheel deal before BF gets here).
It's based on scientific notation/powers of ten. 10^0 = 1, 10^1 = 10, 10^2 = 100, 10^3 = 1000, etc

Both companies went for profits. It costs nothing bundle Uncharted vs however much AC Syndicate would have cost. Same reason Uncharted and Gears are the two $299 bundles on Black Friday. And Xbox won the month while making a nice profit on the Halo bundle.
The uncharted bundle gives them more profits though.
And the CoD and SW bundles >>> Any AC bundle
