"Moore's law is dead."
This is the best thing about this news! Jensen being wrong.
I'm gonna go cut a £100 penis shape out of his leather jacket!

Wait so they paid you?My interest also increased by 5%.
it started from -5%
Sadly it has nothing to do with his pricing being right or wrong is merely a price correction with the Euro compared to US Dollar

Still cant afford it.
great deal for PCMR
The masses dont buy 4090's.The 4090 FE is still sold out everywhere.
What kind of nonsense viewpoint is that? You're basically saying you're deliberately staying stupid.I do not look back at what previous generations of anything cost and thats one thing that spoils gamers is console pricing.
Last I looked literally everything is costing more
Im in the same boat with my 2080s, trying to hold out to see if i can get one of amd cards at msrp thoGetting better. I'm starting to lose my patience though and might get a 4080 anyway since they are widely available. I need the performance, getting sick of this 2070 super spluttering at 4k.
Sorry but I simply don't care what the going price was for the 3080 as it compares to current pricingWhat kind of nonsense viewpoint is that? You're basically saying you're deliberately staying stupid.
I'm sure CEOs love customers who don't even realize they're getting fucked.....
dont give in!!!!!!!Getting better. I'm starting to lose my patience though and might get a 4080 anyway since they are widely available. I need the performance, getting sick of this 2070 super spluttering at 4k.
Yeah, I haven't purchased a red card in a LONG time. I was never really team anything, just rolled with whatever worked best at the time. I have a feeling the next card I get will be red, because screw buying a GPU that's the price of an entire rig.Just grabbed myself a 6800XT. Going full Team Red with my new build.
Wait till the AMD reviews. One week.Getting better. I'm starting to lose my patience though and might get a 4080 anyway since they are widely available. I need the performance, getting sick of this 2070 super spluttering at 4k.
Yeah the metrics that are coming out now (with new drivers) are pointing to the 6800XT, specifically, being able to easily keep up with the 3080 and even the 3090 (and in some cases outperforming those!). RTX is still an issue obviously but I don't really care for that tech in its current phase yet.Yeah, I haven't purchased a red card in a LONG time. Stay on Target

Fuck the haters
I went from a 2070 to a 3090 (paid stupid scalper prices) and I was blown away running everything at 4k 100+ and even 160 on my monitor with some tweaked settings, look forward to seeing your take on that card, grats againI can't bloody wait in all honesty. The 2070 super was only supposed to be a stop-gap and then all the pandemic shenanigans happened so I've had it far longer than I expected to. It's served me very well in the time I've had it but it's begging for retirement with how I'm using it (VR + I have the PC hooked up to a 55" CX.
4k 100 fps+ and crystal clear VR here I come.
hey jensen?
Hell I went from a 3090 to a 4090 and the difference was worth the price to me. Playing cyberpunk at a locked 60 with phyco RT at 4k is wonderful. The 3090 i had to compromise to many things to get stable 4k even with dlss. The 4090 is the first no compromise card I've ever owned.I went from a 2070 to a 3090 (paid stupid scalper prices) and I was blown away running everything at 4k 100+ and even 160 on my monitor with some tweaked settings, look forward to seeing your take on that card, grats again
I so want to pull the trigger on a new 4090 rig but waiting on some real world benchmarks from the new AMD card coming next week? or soHell I went from a 3090 to a 4090 and the difference was worth the price to me. What to you mean by "no compromise"?, because settings must be compromised at native 4k already or else it gets wrecked:
It is still 2800 euro in sweden

I don't consider DLSS Quality to be a compromise, its AA performance and just overall look (in this game at least) is on par if not better than native in some aspects.
80 class cards shouldn't even be at £800, unless its an AiB model.4080 deserves to drop price IMO. 4090 always seemed kind of fair pricing for what it offers and taking into account inflation.
4080 should not be more than £899 IMO.
4080 is only a 42% jump over 3080. 3080 was roughly 63% better than 2080.
This is more like a 4070 and should be priced $500 like the OG 3070. Nvidia is too greedy.
