Well, to be fair, most of the water cooling components I had were from a prior build. When I upgraded to Kepler, I just bought a new case, another radiator, 2 reservoirs, the GPUs/waterblocks, and some quick disconnects.
And I hear you on the neutered OC potential. I was a bit disappointed at first, but then I realized that I can play every game maxed, at over 60fps, and that shouldn't change much anytime soon. I think the low noise and low temps were definitely worth the investment, although I don't think you're one to talk when it comes to cost-to-practical-performance ratio.
