Despite having significantly less clearance nationwide, TNA Impact (.2-.3 range) on FOX Sports has been neck-and-neck recently with Velocity, which drew a .3 rating this weekend. Neither show's ratings should be considered outstanding, but TNA's numbers are much more impressive considering the weaker network and the lack of solid coverage and publicity.

Even though WWE was reluctant to give up on Mordecai due to his size, Kevin Fertig, who played the character, was sent back to OVW. Most do not blame Fertig, but rather, feel the character ultimately lacked potential.

The current plan is for Angle vs. Guerrero at Summerslam (not for the title). Of course, WWE often will book on the fly, so take this only as a tentative rumor.

Wow NWA beating any WWE show with that piss poor time slot and no ads is pretty outstanding, don't you think?

Anything that shakes Vince out of his current catatonic state is fine by me. Even though Velocity is a B-show, it's still pretty good for NWA-TNA considering they just started free television a few weeks ago.

I'm just curious as to how they track NWA's rating.
Is it for one slot or do they add them all together?

Because here the show comes on 2:30 on a Tuesday afternoon which is just weird.

And does that mean JBL will hold on to the title till Summerslam?

The WWE Hall Of Fame, which returned for the WrestleMania XX festivities, is reportedly going to have a future involvement in WrestleMania events. It should come as no surprise, therefore, that WWE is already showing interest in its next potential inductees.

Various insider sources claim that Vince McMahon wants to get Hulk Hogan, Bruno Sammartino and Bret Hart inducted as soon as possible. The WWE head feels this will "legitimize" the HOF and create a better connection with today's fan.

Many still believe that Bret Hart will make one more appearance during WWE programming, aside from a potential HOF induction.
