Blows raw and just about every other promotion on an overall level out there. There isn't anything out there with the storytelling and the locker room this well-rounded. This show was legit better than this years wrestlemania.

The promo's so far didn't really give me the idea Steen will work as a heel, but then again, the narrative of "everyone came in before me, even though I was around longer and was just as good as them" could easily be fuel for a feud.

Still, I don't think Sami vs. Steen is going to be the first feud out of the gate for either guy.

That they were a monster tag team who squashed everyone - not just jobbers - is why Balor and Itami will look good when they kill them. I'm also of the opinion that they're rather good and have had a number of good matches - and have still remained popular with the crowd even when facing WWE's two hottest debutants - but that's another story.



I really, really hope nothing like that happens. I don't think it will either. Owens could betray Zayn, his "best friend," but that would make no sense, having no build - particularly if it ended Zayn's career. He could help Zayn but that would be ridiculously heelish and Zayn is a born face and Owens is only just debuting. It's best he keeps out of that for now.

This two hour show had more wrestling on it than an entire month of Raw and Smackdown. It probably helps a lot that it's not run by a room full of failed soap opera and comedy writers over seen by an out of touch senile old man and his yes men, including Bucky. As someone on the main OT said, those Full Sail college students embarrassed WWE's production crew headed by Dunn just as the show did for everything else involved with the main roster.

WrestleMania was great, Wrestle Kingdom 8 was great as was pretty much the entire G1 Climax, but this may well take the cake, I'll have to give it a second viewing though. Top to bottom this show was downright perfect and WHAT A SWERVE~!
