Haha yup it was totally Kushner's team that leaked this shit to the times in order to control the narrative on an inevitable leak and keep the heat off him and instead throw Jr under the bus. By all rights Kushner should be getting fucking lampooned right now but Jr's taking the heat.

I don't buy it. Even with this massive discount two for one voucher. I suspect this is all straight fuckery but I also assume Mueller is above any clumsy trap attempts by the Trump campaign.

His defense stays the same either way. He didn't know who it was and didn't stay the whole meeting. Play stupid. Now that narrative gets out before people start asking him hard questions.

This is Kushner's lawyers doing their jobs properly. There's no way you let your client get dragged into an FBI questioning without having this out in the open and having all your paperwork in order.

If they are completely independent counsel, their job isn't to keep DTJ out of jail or keep Donnie in office, it's too make Jared look like an innocent bystander.

Well, as a lawyer, you make the recommendation to disclose, but Kushner makes the call. He's the one saving his own ass and throwing his bro-in-law under the bus, but it's understandable given what he's facing.
