That and I have no reason to believe Jr's take on the meeting. Not after a succession of lies and evasions beforehand.

There is no statute preventing Trump from pardoning his son. There is question whether he can (preemptively) pardon himself.

I don't think he can pardon his son or Kushner without also resigning. I just hoped on the post saying he couldn't pardon his son.
How does it exonerate Kushner or Manafort, they're at the meeting. If they showed this to the investigative team that would count as cooperation I suppose, but to the press?
Obviously NYT isn't going to reveal their source, but who decided it was to their advantage to reveal this now is as big a story.

Like i said, these guys are in deep shit. Not just Federal Crimes, specific to this case.
You don't hire these type of people -as i stated- to do just Federal Investigations. This is a team gathered to hit from multi-angles and connect lots of even regular or state criminal activities into a convict-able package. That is air-tight.
Federal crimes like these don't exist in a vacuum. They start from somewhere and money and other illegal relations are not far behind.

State charges will be there to take everything they own. If clear and concise evidence is found and furthermore state charges aren't kids play, in the event that Trump uses the pardon card. Although if impeachment is in process then...
