Because, of the three that were in that meeting Don Jr. would probably be the least damaged by this. So, they leak and lean heavily on him as the center of attention. Even Kushner is pushing people to ask him about any details. Kushner is in government and lied about this shit and Manafort was the fucking Campaign Manager.
Someone pointed out Kushner's father threw his brother-in-law under the bus to save himself. Maybe Jared is doing the same thing.
