October 2015 NPD (U.S. Hardware) Predictions - Closes November 10th

Wait a second. When did PS4 price cut in US start? Beginning of October or second half?

PR doesn't know what to say about such low numbers for both consoles, so they're sitting there in silence. Meanwhile, my father's corpse grows colder...

XB1 sold 168K last year which means:

XB1 ~274K
PS4 < 274K

much lower sales than everyone expected.

Guys next year its going to start winding down. This gen has been massively front loaded and the audience is clearly tightened around a core.

Sales are going to fall but software will continue to do as we've seen exceptionally well.

Everyone understands this is just a PR line from April, right?

"As the best-selling console in the U.S. in October, fans set record October sales and engagement for Xbox One last month, Xbox One console sales in the U.S. increased 63 percent in October 2015 compared to October 2014 and Xbox Live comparisons showed the number of active global users [Xbox One and Xbox 360] grew 24 percent. We are grateful to our fans for their passion and support."

Ok,that makes sense then. Halo didn't carry the Xbone it good numbers, it just prevented it from flopping as hard as the other guys.

Oh it's fake lol
