XB1 274K?
Wow, this is going to be an eyeopener for you.
XB1 sold 168K last year which means:
XB1 ~274K
PS4 < 274K
much lower sales than everyone expected.

Halo 5 was the best selling game at retail in October in the US. I guess that answers the "Is There Hype Around Halo?" question.
Yeah, the hype went a bit too real there with the PS4's supposed victory.

Everyone understands this is just a PR line from April, right?
As the best-selling console in the U.S. in October, fans set record October sales and engagement for Xbox One last month, Xbox One console sales in the U.S. increased 63 percent in October 2015 compared to October 2014 and Xbox Live comparisons showed the number of active global users [Xbox One and Xbox 360] grew 24 percent. We are grateful to our fans for their passion and support.

Also: Yoshi's Wooly World sold more copies at retail than Uncharted: TNDC in October, and Rock Band 4 charted at #10.
