He's a dick in real life and that's why he's one of the worst faces ever, let him be a dick in character and he's entertaining as hell. Can't they dig up a legend or something for a WrestleMania match and have him be the legend killer again?

Cena has no style either. They're on the same level of bland, Cena is just more hateable because of how they book him, and his awful promos...and the no selling, and his jorts, and his ugly technique, and his douchesmirk, and his terrible promos. Dude has ZERO in ring charisma. The same can be said for damn near the entire roster though, so whatevs.

The sad thing is that Cena had all of that for years. It just vanished around 2009. He's well past Hogan in the early 90s. Way past that. Hogan was stale as fuck by 1991 in an era where he had TV matches maybe 10 times a year, if that. Plus 3 or 4 PPVs or SNME. Think about this. I did some research. From 1984 to 1993, Hulk Hogan wrestled a total of under 70 matches on television. And that is including matches that were shown on multiple shows (which happened all the god damn time back then). I'll grant you that he was involved in angles and promos very often, but still not every show. Cena had more TV matches in 2003 (of which he spent months off being injured for the Brock feud)and 2004 than Hogan had in a decade on WWE television.

If you go from the point he won his first WWE Championship, he still had more matches on TV by the end of 2006 than Hogan had his entire 1984-1993 run in WWE. And then add 6 more years of it, plus multiple segments each show, almost always either closing or opening the show or both. Talk about over exposed. People were sick of Hogan by 1991 and that was with dramatically less screen time than Cena has had since becoming champion and face of the company. Cena is just about at the same length of time that it took people to get tired of Hogan. But with literally over 10 times as much television time on top of it.

Nah, he was a face for that bit against Drew Mcintyre, that was during the same period that he went around saying Mr Ziggles as a sick burn to Ziggler, to his credit I still occasionally call Ziggler Ziggles so there we go.

His heel stuff i'm thinking of was when he first went from Nitro to Morrison and later in the tag team with Miz, he was pretty competent back then but soon the face turn arrived and vacuumed away whatever character he had, it's standard procedure for WWE face turns.

I wouldn't look that much into the drop, people get tired, kids go to bed. Last hour has had a slight drop now for at least a year, maybe more as well.

When they go back to two hours, and as long as they stay PG, it's probably best to go 8-10 PM though.
