I don't even understand the concept "Kevin Owens is being de-pushed." Like what about Owens record would make people believe that? He's one of like 5 dudes on the roster who doesn't randomly job on Raw. Even Dean Ambrose randomly eats pins on occasion.

So does that give the U.S. title more meaning now? Makes me wonder if they should bring back the old titles (Euro and Cruiserweight) just to give the rest of the roster more limelight.

The IC Title is one of my favourite pieces of WWE lore right now. Everyone is obsessed with it's prestige and history, so much so that they ignore the clear fact that it was smelted on an Indian burial ground or whatever.

I'm listening to Wrestle Kingdom with Mauro and Josh Barnett. They are such a good call. Better than JR and Striker. Mauro must have the strongest vocal cords in the biz. I think Josh said on JR's they do eight hour blocks at a time to tape for AXS.

I already heard on Reddit that Kevin Dunn OKed Lana posting that to her IG. Fucked up if true.

US title became important because:

  • It got weekly talking time on why it was important
  • It got its own merch
  • Cena did not lose
  • 20min+ matches every week with guys who could work
  • Cena can work a great match
  • Matches became Cena segments that didn't have long running story shit

Its not the time he held the belt its that he didn't lose.

Quite frankly Cena shouldn't have lost the belt or faced Rollins. That was done to hotshot Jon Stewart to get media coverage out of it.

I can't argue with much of that. Cena and his booking absolutely elevated that title. And I agree he shouldn't have lost it.
