although he's in no significant storylines because those don't exist unless you're in the main event picture... He's up there in the "most poorly booked superstars in WWE ranking" right now

whatever happened to the days of a super hot faction pretty much having ownership of the title scene?

would reigns/rollins have worked better as champions if they were still in the shield, and were just dominating the scene for a while as various champions?

To be fair to Reigns, creative is awful awful awful. I still think he needs that heel turn to get a real edge to him that will put him over the edge as a main event dude.

Cesaro....there is no hope. Just waiting out his contract and heading to somewhere else. He's clearly trying his very best every week in ring but WWE have no idea how to effectively get him across outside of it
it'd probably be pretty easy if he was in NXT

Cesaro is Curt Hennig without the Mr. Perfect gimmick to make him memorable. He's Dean Malenko but tall enough to ride on most roller coasters.

There's plenty of awesome people like this littered throughout pro wrestling history. It's not a bad thing. It's a good thing. Great wrestlers having good matches on the regular, making everyone look good.

gimmicks are for losers who can't wrestle, like that guy who's CRAAAZYZYYYYYY and only knows how to do a rebound lariat 12 time every match

Bryan had one of the most varied and constant character evolutions they've had on the main roster in a long time, that's a bad example.

He was a good wrestler that said no, and then a good wrestler that said yes

Cesaro had his awesome FACT gimmick with Kidd, he was the king of swing, he was the king of NXT for a while

Excuse me, but he said yes, then no, then yes again.

But that's still a very reductive look at his character growth from emotionally abusive boyfriend to underdog. It's easy to forget that he was actually a compelling character at one point and not just the yes guy. Sigh.

remember that one time they tried a cheating angle and it flopped and they barely resolved it the week after? I think Cole said it was fake and that was that, those were the days

Hennig had charisma out the ass. Cesaro is a monster worker, he can put on amazing matches, but personality wise all he does in the ring is smile and pump his fists. He had a all the personality of a Zumba instructor.

Eh. He had charisma. I wouldn't say it was coming out of any orifices, though. And he hilariously flubbed words in promos from time to time and had to be saved by Mean Gene, which was funny because, you know, Mr. Perfect is supposed to be perfect. Which he reiterated. All the time. In every promo. Ever.

What's the community's thoughts on Kurt Angle ever coming back to WWE in the near future? I am surprised he has been in TNA for so long.

I am pretty sure he would make a return in some capacity, but love to see him come back before he could be considered as a "WWE Legend".

Cesaro regularly cuts promos for his German speaking audience which show a bit more of his personality where he comes off as a cheerful, but somewhat shallow guy that wants to wrestle for you. He doesn't dig into his matches much and mainly promotes WWE's European tours and answers fan questions. At the end of each promo he comes up with an intentionally bad pun-based joke.
I like the promos, but the joke idea is terrible, lol.
