By TNA potentially going out of business, it actually makes me want to watch their ppv. I know how these things end though. WWE will end up getting the company for about 25% of what the other suitors are offering.

Nah he's not, which is the disapointing thing about it.
He made me stop watching wrestling for a bit in the 2000s and for that I will always bear a grudge. Nxt is just another, albeit more sophisticated way to get what he wants and to get himself over.
People call Vince a genius, but apart from the attitude era and parts of Smackdown where Paul Heyman was writing, large parts of his product have been shit for the last 20 years.

So for someone else to outbid them, that supposedly DOESN'T have a network full of thousands of hours of wrestling content to sell people... what the fuck are they thinking? They think they're gonna turn this ship around? even remotely?
I think they only thing that's happened is that they got enough money together to put on the PPV. A third party came in and helped cover those costs. Unless I'm understanding this wrong.
What's fascinating as I learn more about wrestling history is seeing how often people, namely Vince and his family, have left money on the table for the sake of their own ego. It's like these people love money, but they enjoy feeling important even more.
I can't think of another industry like this. I mean, I'm sure it happens. But it's interesting how WWF/E has probably had its potential has a business cut off because of how often when it came down to Vince's ego vs the business, his ego won.
