I played the short demo in a crowded store and was getting some funny looks at how often I was giggling.
2 weeks woo!

That trailer was surprisingly sad.
Sorry March is still a ways off, ya'll. We're doing our best to get it out the door ASAP.
We'd been working on the PC release long before we hooked up with Sony, and we promised it to Kickstarter backers first.
Truth is that we're running out of money to pay rent, eat food, and those sorts of things so we wanted to get it out on PC first to give ourselves some cushion to finish the PS4 version.
Hope you enjoyed the trailer!

the demo on ps4 was fun at GS. real curious if there will be competent k+m controls
I was playing a PS4 demo unit at a Nebraska Furniture Mart a couple weeks before launch. There were a lot of people around, but were mostly messing with the Kinect next to me. I'd play for a bit, then let someone else have a shot if there was anyone waiting.Sorry March is still a ways off, ya'll. We're doing our best to get it out the door ASAP.

I REALLY wanna help out with a Steam purchase, but I just wanted it on PS4. And things are tight so I can't really double dip, plus I don't want to play it on my laptop.

Keyboard and Mouse were the original control scheme so they're pretty solid. If you prefer a controller we'll be supporting DS3, DS4, and X360 on computer as well.
Also Direct Input and xInput with the ability to remap all your controls however you like.

Awesome.
Are you going to sell it DRM-free + Steam key through Humble by any chance?

Ugh, I was hoping the controls would be different with this one. I never managed to play much of the original because I felt like I was fighting the controls the entire time.
Yep! It will be on Steam, Humble, and GOG.
Isn't that kinda the point?

Can't wait. No joke, this is my most anticipated ps4 title. Hope it comes to ps4 sooner rather than later.
Anyone else reminded of Chicken Boo?
"You wear a disguise to look like human guys
But you're not a man, you're an octodad!"
Was about to post that exact same thing. This is one of my most anticipated games for when it hits PS4. I cannot wait.
This is exactly why people were angry about the launch parity clause from MS.
Good luck, dude. I can't wait for this game and I hope it does well.
I was already humming the themesong when I came upon your post. Can't seem to make a decent rhyme of it, though.
"He's an arthropod I tells ya, a giant arthropod!!"

Played the demo on PS4 And don't get the hype. The controls sucked and it was a chore to play IMO. Reminded me of noby noby boy with worse controls.
It's definitely a big part of the game. Though this time around they do work a bit better. There were some problems in the first Octodad that we didn't intend to be there so things are a bit more smooth this time around.
Still just as jiggly and awkward though! The game is that his body is the puzzle, not that you're saving the world or something traditionally 'epic'.
