I can't believe Clap Hanz released a Hot Shots Golf (in all but name) for Quest and not PSVR2... Man Sony really screwed up that relationship huh?

I plan on buying it as soon as I can.

Looks like a game that would only be on the dark steam.

So this peaked my interest so i went and checked out their website and was left puzzled. Alexios Alexios have you got any idea if this will be for normal consumer devices or is it for some kind of commercial VR fun park/laser tag kind of thing. There website says this.

"coming to Zero Latency VR venues globally"

I want to purge the xenos in my house, and I don't think I have one of these Zero Latency places near me or even in the country.

It's for location based VR arcades only probably. But who knows, I believe stuff like Propagation started out as LBVR too.

I’ve been playing Quake 4 on my Quest 1 and 3 Via Team Beef patreon. It’s early days but it’s stunning. Has to be the best looking game I’ve played on Q1. Looking forward to the full release. I’m a huge fan of Quake 4 so this is a big deal for me.

I don't know if anybody can answer this for me or not but it's worth a try before I return it.

I recently bought a Quest 3 (honestly to play through Alyx and a few other games and likely return it) and I'm having a problem with Steam Link. My controllers work fine until I get to the Press RT to continue after loading my game.

I've tried all of the suggestions of changing the controller mappings, I've uninstalled the game twice, I've uninstalled Steam VR, I've uninstalled Steam, and I've wiped my computer and it still doesn't work.

PS VR2 was designed from the ground up specifically for PS5 – so you’ll notice that some key features, like HDR, headset feedback, eye tracking, adaptive triggers, and haptic feedback (other than rumble), are not available when playing on PC.

The lack of being able to use any of the psvr2's headline features makes it totally pointless to get it over a quest 3 for PC if you don't already have it for the console. It's already painful going back to fresnel lenses after the q3's pancakes.

This is the 2nd sim quest has gotten in a week

So strange but cool, I am assuming that you steer with motion controls.

I wonder if it would feel ok If I held my racing wheel to play with the controllers in my hand, I dont really like the idea of a bike racer holding my hands out for too long to virtually steer.

I am interested though and I guess if it gets popular someone will whip up a 3D handlebar print or something.

Yeah it seems weird but definitely doable.

just got a quest 3, ann the new lens are great upgrade, but for me the biggest wow factor is by far the MR side of it, even tho the few games i played were basic, theyre a game changer for introducing people to VR. ive been playing VR for years now as my primary source of gaming, and never been able to really get friends and family into it, due to the headsets (motion sickness etc etc), but with MR even my mum was fully convinced by it. MR is really breaking the social barrier of VR/MR for me.

quest 3 has even replaced my large UHD tv now, watching youtube on the headset with passthrough is a joy tbh.

room scan is unreal too, adding furniture etc etc, that tech alone was mind blowing to me.

head strap is awful as expected, but got the battery pack kiwi replacement and thats resolved all the comfort issues

my only gripe atm, and its more of a set up thing, is using steamlink and getting the performance i expect. i want native if not higher resolution and 120hz, playing things like showdown, and onward, currently its being hit and miss. anyone had any issues linking this? getting performance issues on the graph (purple line constantly) never had an issue on quest 2. was looking to get a wifi 6e router just to steamlink/air link etc etc

so far quest 3 is my next gen console and true set in right direction for VR, and cant wait to see what MR can do, me and a buddy are gonna go hire a hall and room scale it and play 1v1 shooters in MR hopefully soon

on a side note, not done any sideloading yet, but any recommend any decent MR games on there??

Yep, we are aiming to release a few short experience with mix reality. Checking how far we can go with unreal engine, but pretty cool features.

Miracle pool is great, the MR is awesome, but it needs a full soze 9ft american table. It has snooker balls and no snooker table....which is also odd

Showdown is pretty much dead to me, once I discovered it has aim assist in it....aim assist in a vr game is plain retarded
