Officer Chun-Li costume spotted in latest SFV beta, also some other lame costumes

I don't know why i feel the shorts look way less tacky on Poison than on Laura, maybe it's because i've been used to that design for years.

Police Chun looks cool though. She definitely has the best alts so far. Cammy's would be fantastic too if she had pants ;)

One day i want a short manga or whatever of why Cammy hates pants and has sworn to never wear them again.

Regarding Poison, that's exactly why.

Funny thing is, Poison was censored in both Super NES and SEGA CD ports of Final Fight.

Wow. These costumes are terrible. They are making me think Dead or Alive takes a way classier approach to its characters then SFV is. Thats insane.

You can be critical of things, andw they will. Don't know why things are so cut and dry, they can criticize and not use it

I think what's annoying is that this is a complete list of female fighters in SFV without an impossibly fanservice-ish outfit:

- Karin

And that list is likely to get smaller with future costumes. Maybe I'm going senile, but this is the kind of stuff that made DOA a joke back in the day, and now apparently it's expected in all fighting games.

An optional costume is just that, a costume. A handful of them will be sexy because people like that and it makes money, others will not. It's still a long way to DOAs bikinis and swimsuits

You seem to want less costumes in general instead of more costumes so everyone has a choice

Would be better if I didn't have to see it when I play. Not using it doesn't really solve that problem, does it?

I know it's a poison omage, and that means we'll never see Poison ever again, but...man. Consult a fashion designer or something, she looks like trailer trash.

Pretty sure there will be non fanservice costumes. Is cammy's coat fanservice? Is cop Chun?

We've seen like 5% of the costumes the game will have in the end. And right now they're showing ones that will make people hit that pre order button

I was forced to see Blanka in any costume in SF4.
I just steeled myself.
It's not like I would go blind by accepting designs I did not like

Street Fighter is a franchise whose first female character had panties you could see every time she kicked. The second female character in the series wore a thong leotard. People should stop acting like this stuff is anything new to Street Fighter. Nothing has changed and it's not suddenly like DoA.

They distracted people with the Mika ass removal. Got these costumes in to maximize money potential. Hopefully sexy Laura gets them enough money to make it to year 2 of characters and costumes

Unless the definition you're using is that it's something a lot of fans wanted, I'd disagree. They went surprisingly with a non-fanservicey cop outfit instead of the stereotypical sexy cop.

Well at least capcom got people over the butt removal haha

I wasn't complaining about it, but I was wondering why they got rid of it when they have all these sexual costumes in the game.
