Is RJ the only player on New Jersey with a lick of pride?
DarienA said:There ya go NJ steppin it up... Shaq... benched... a non-factor.. 0 points... I tell ya if Miami wins this game and Shaq has another low scoring game the talk is gonna start about him... and his worth....
bionic77 said:Well it is only the Nets and Shaq is injured.
DarienA said:Refresh my memory on what's the injury that he's scoreless this far in to the game? He's a complete non-factor so far.
Shaq should foul out each game that elbow shit is now sub-conscious he does it every shot.
Cloudy said:Apparently, Paul is the first ever to have 5 or more points, rebounds, assists and blocks in a playoff game.
Blocks only became an official stats in '73 but it's still impressive![]()
Bat said:What? Tim Duncan almost had a quadrouple double (he was shot 1 block) agains the Nets in 2003, so there is no way that is true.
Pimpwerx said:Shaq is still getting over his thigh bruise. Tim Duncan's been riding that fucking ankle for all the pity in the world. An older, wiser diesel will naturally take a little longer to mend. Let's extend the same courtesy to him.Besides, we're still leading. When he needs to, he'll strain the thigh a bit more and help give us an advantage again. But for now, the Heat are content to just sweep the Nets the hell out of the playoffs so they can get a proper rest before steamrolling the rest of our victims.
PEACE.

bionic77 said:Dude you are delusional. The Heat are up 3-0 against the fucking Nets! They only got in the playoffs because the Cavs choked. I really haven't seen anything impressive from the Heat overall. If they don't raise their level of play I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose in the 2nd round.
P.S. A wiser Diesel wouldn't pick up 3 stupid fouls that easily. That is what we expect of Yao, not Shaq.
The Nets at this point in the playoffs look like a much more rounded team than either of the 2nd round folks.
DarienA said:Well yeah that's true about Tim, as for the Heat...NJ locked them down in the 2nd qtr. They better come out more aggressive 2nd half.
EDIT: Bionic... while I generally agree with you let me say that I don't think there is ANY way that the Heat could lose to the Wizards OR the Bulls it would take the talent of both those teams put together IMO. The Nets at this point in the playoffs look like a much more rounded team than either of the 2nd round folks... the Heat just need to get on their P's and Q's and close out the Nets so they can rest.
ShadowRed said:Miame should lose this game so that Shaq could have more time to heal. As much as I want the heat to win they are just playing the Nets and the their next opponent is bound to be a bigger challenge than them. They need Shaq at full strength or as close to it for the rest of the season.
bionic77 said:Plus, how much can a thigh bruise slow you down? I wonder if that is just a cover for a more serious injury. A ankle injury totally changes the way you play, but a fucking thigh bruise? That sounds like something Vince would have suffered from in Toronto....
ShadowRed said:Uh... they would have another game with the Nets that he could it out or not play as much, giving himself time to heal.
Why not win the game and finish the series (which they will do) and not have to play again until the next round? Losing today = more work. Winning today = less work. PEACE.ShadowRed said:Uh... they would have another game with the Nets that he could it out or not play as much, giving himself time to heal.
wtf do Laker fans know about the importance of big men?
Cloudy said:Did you watch the Lakers this season? We can also school you on the importance of a PG and good coaching :lol
Pistons will crush the Heat!
This season was also a good example of the importance of a good SG too eh?![]()
Pimpwerx said:Again...wtf do Laker fans know about the importance of big men? Sorry, Shaq doesn't have to do shit until its necessary. Right now it's not. We've got a red carpet to the conference finals. Detroit is gonna be so beaten and bruised by that point that they'll be a cakewalk+1 for us. I don't see what's to be worried about. The Heat bench almost beat the Pistons in our last outing. Bionic and Konex are just in super-bitter playoff mode. All the bitterness of the regular season, but with the added insult of having no one to support.
Hate on the Heat some more. We don't want Fakers on our bandwagon. It's gonna be extra sweet when the Diesel and the Heat are celebrating the thrill of victory in the final game of the season. That's my word. PEACE.
bionic77 said:I don't remember seeing much of you in this thread until the Heat win a game, and at that point you start making idiotic comments about how easy it will be them. And I never said big men weren't important, I said Shaq and most of the Heat were not playing well. Are you saying that they can't play better? And I think the fact that Shaq is shooting something like 42% in the series (something he has never come close to before) shows that I am right. When the Heat actually win something you can have something to brag about, right now they have nothing, and only Pistons fans have any room to talk shit (If you actually watched basketball you would have seen how good the Pistons were during their 4th quarter comeback).
P.S. When was the last time the Heat won something meaningful? Oh that is right...
Cloudy said:If you actually watched hoops, you'd know the Sixers beat the Heat twice (one in Miami) this season. How many times did the Nets beat Miami all year? That's right, none! Why are you guys acting like Miami has proved anything yet?![]()

Cloudy said:Exactly my point. What happens in the first round means jack shit since the competition is different. When both teams meet in the ECF, Miami is going DOWN!!!
PS: And Miami beat an unbalanced NJ team that only made the playoffs cos the Cavs collapsed. Big accomplishment! :lol
Cloudy said:Is Damon Jones the biggest attention whore fringe player ever? :lol
Oh man, did I touch a nerve or what? :lol Your team sucks, you're just lashing out. Especially since Shaq winning the championship with/for the Heat doesn't just look bad on Kobe, but the stupid fan-whore/whore-fan organization that let him go. I've been in these threads after losses. I've been posting irregularly pretty much everywhere on this forum, but I've been pretty regular the last two months since I haven't been going out much anymore.bionic77 said:I don't remember seeing much of you in this thread until the Heat win a game, and at that point you start making idiotic comments about how easy it will be them. Whoa, what? Outside of Cleveland, who was seriously talking about 'Bron being MVP?The Chosen One said:I'm loving this.
Wade is playing excellent so far these playoffs and it's making all the Lebron-MVP talk a distant memory. I know there are a lot of Bron Lovers here, but you have to admit Wade has a better all-around game and is much more efficient. Wade shot over 50% the entire series. He knows when to take good shots instead of hoisting shots from almost anywhere even when he's hot.
Cloudy said:What an awful series. Gonna go watch a movie till the next game starts...
PS: How he hell is Tim Duncan gonna guard Amare when K-Mart was abusing him last night? Spurs need to somehow stop the other guys if they're gonna beat the Suns :lol
