are you fucking insane? brevin knight!? dude, did you see what happened to the suns when Nash was out earlier in the year? let me tell you, they lost at least 4 straight games (maybe more) and looked like complete shit
there is no way in fuck that kidd, parker, bibby, marbury, arenas or billups are better than nash. AI i think i agree with you is probably the best "pg" (im not even sure you can consider him that even though thats his position... he is like a pg/sg), but to suggest those guys are better than nash is ridiculous.

Okay throw AI and Arenas right out of that list. They aren't true PGs. Bordering on that line are Marbury and Billups. Bibby borders a bit, too. Parker isn't quite there yet, a bit up and down. So that leaves Kidd and maybe Bibby. Bibby isn't as fast as Nash either. Nor is he as good a passer. A guy like JWill is fast and can pass as well, but he doesn't have a consistent shot and is reluctant to drive the ball. So Kidd could have done it, maybe Bibby. In time Parker.
Really Konex, real PGs are rare and Nash is one of the top three in the league.

you still didn't explain why the suns couldn't win those games without nash. if any PG can win in that system, why don't the suns cut nash and draft a PG in the 2nd round to run the offense? it would be cheaper wouldn't it?

Fuck, even a homer like myself can admit Parker is not yet in the same breath as Nash, eventhough he plays much better defense. 
The rest of the list also doesn't compare, with the exception of Kidd. And IMO, Nash has been considered a toip three PG for quite some time, he just didn't deliver the goods during the playoffs, but neither did his teammates in Dallas.

Yea Iverson one of the top 5 players in the league today,but an NBA all-time great,imo...I dont see it yet.

So Amare can't get better? Also, they never had shooters to spread the floor like they have now and teams could actually double Amare and Marbury.
They played the Spurs tough in the playoffs and won 2 games IIRC with Marbury carrying them. This Suns team will be lucky to get 1 from the Spurs...

If Nash wins the MVP over Shaq, then I think I'll fucking cry. At the very least, you have to tie them. Even with the injuries, Shaq is clearly the more dominant player. You don't have to gameplan for Nash. All he does is dish the rock. He's not going to beat your team by himself. I think it's nice and all that a PG is doing well again, but Jason Kidd was just as important to his team, and he never got a goddamn MVP.
This would be even worse than giving Karl Malone an MVP over Jordan. Jordan was clearly the better player, yet the league decided to stiff him in favor of Malone. But in that case, Jordan already had a ton of trophies, so it didn't matter. But this is different. Shaq has arguably been the most dominant player in the league for a decade. Even when Jordan was playing, you had to rank Shaq right along with him in dominance b/c he still managed to carry a Magic franchise (which everyone now realizes sucks horribly) to a Finals. WTF did Nash do with the Mavs? A great team that's still in the playoffs, and he did jack shit with Dirk, Van Exel and Finley. Put Shaq on that squad, and Dirk would have a ring right now.

Even AI has more MVPs, and AI hasn't been as valuable to his team as Shaq. He hefts up a lot of shots, but he hasn't been able to take Philly over that hump. Shaq's taken Orlando, LA and now he'll take Miami over that hump.
