That's no excuse. Those were the worst calls on a sequence of pitches I have ever seen.
Rivera always expands the strike zone to see how far he gets, he sees how far he gets then throws it there. That is how he pitches.

Home plate ump was squeezing Sab and Logan though so who the fucks knows whats with him.

Diamondbacks winning 5-2, Giants losing 3-0.

D-Backs will be 6 games ahead if those scores hold. You can pretty much book the NL Playoffs now. Phillies vs. D-Backs/Brewers vs. Braves.

Brutal umpiring in the Sox/Yankees game. Both sides.

Mariano got the worst offenders on Lowrie, though. Changed the game.

CC pitched like shit, he's lucky he only had 2 ER.

Braves lose to the Nationals 9-2. Cardinals beat the Brewers 2-1. Diamondbacks beat the Rockies 9-4. Giants lose to the Cubs 5-2.

D'Backs incease their lead in the NL West to 6.0 games. Magic number to clinch is down to 21. Giants now fall to third place in the NL Wild Card race behind the Braves and Cardinals. Cardinals (8.5 back) have moved 0.5 games ahead of the Giants (9.0 back).

Hitting Cervelli was pretty dumb. Glad their sense of honor was preserved in the loss.

Keeping CC in the game in the sixth was much worse. They got away with it, but Girardi was playing with fire.

Time to put "show up Lackey because he's a hotheaded dipshit who'll give us a free base in a late and close game" in Girardi's binder.

Lackey sucks, you shouldn't have to resort to such tactics as a manager against him. Girardi is an awful manager who has a great bullpen.

The smoothies offered by Booster Juice come with a choice of "boosters", or nutritional additives such as protein, echinacea, fibre, and other products such as ginseng or rosehip.

Some drinks offered by Booster Juice contain less common food products, including Matcha, Açaí fruit, a Brazilian fruit produced by the Acai Palm, and Wheatgrass.

Yum?

These Royals are gonna be scary in the not so distant future. They've already robbed us of 3-4 hits including a homer. Hosmer's made Porcello his bitch twice through 4 innings.

There are rumors that the Giants/Rangers are talking about a potential Aaron Rowand trade. Rowand is due $14 million in 2012. The Giants would obviously have to pay a ton of that.

Yeah but they will have to nuke the team once the payroll gets to high.

WHAT???

Corran and Xianaphyz are making out as I type this.
Won't really help the current team's squad, unless the minor leaguers who end up taking their spots on the 40-man roster end up being offensive juggernauts. But at least next season's roster is improved with Rowand out!

Was it as good for you as I imagine it was for Corran, XiaNaphryz?
Nah, I'm still feeling like this:

Seriously, Lincecum could be 20-1 if he had an average offense backing him up. What a waste of a pitching staff this season.

The secret ingredient is
HGH
.

"ANY PLAYER BETTER THAN THE BEST YANKEE PLAYER IS OBVIOUSLY DOPING, YET GRANDERSON IS FASTER AND HITS THE SAME AMOUNT OF HOME RUNS BUT HE'S NOT ON DRUGS NO YANKEES EVER CHEAT" is all I heard from this post.

Yeah, but it's all homegrown talent in their rookie year. We have three years until arbitration and six to free agency on virtually everybody, and the minor league depth is still looking good. A good starting pitcher or two is all it's going to take for things to start looking like the 80's around here.
