Nice.

I still think it's hilarious Greinke turned down a deal to the Nationals (for Danny Espinosa, Jordan Zimmermann, and Drew Storen) and a 4-year, $96 million extension.

Wasn't pretty much all of that denied by the Nationals, the money and the players offered?

His reasoning: "oh the Nats would just be screwing themselves"

Yeah thanks for playing at GM, Greinke. Maybe you should've thought about the impact moves would have on your team before you injured yourself playing basketball and missed your first five starts.

Looking back on it, maybe they should offer him the GM spot as well. No chance Greinke gives Werth that money.

His sage advice should not be overlooked.

Biggest game of the regular season for the Red Sox. That's their starting lineup. Don't think that's how they envisioned it.

$142 million man Carl Crawford on the bench. Conor Jackson and Darnell McDonald in the starting lineup. Says it all really.

At least Joe Mauer won't be on the cover of The Show again. That would like be putting Bret Gardner on the cover.

But Gardner is an elite player. One of the best left fielders in the game. Nothing wrong with him being on the cover.

good thing tim wakefield is still in the game, he still has a chance for a win. Looks like he deserves it. That will be one impressive record when he reaches it.

Jennings just went from 1st to scoring in one at bat. I don't watch very much baseball, how many times does that happen in a season?
like scoring from first on a double? It's not really that rare, but it's still something that should be applauded, kinda like going from first to third on a single

Jennings reached first, stole second on a pitch out, took third on a wild pitch and scored on a passed ball all within the same at bat and in 3 pitches.

Oooo Chip Carey just referenced Fangraphs on the air...and then all he talked about was the number of appearances the bullpen has had.

i guess its a start.
