They are just classless.Dmncnby2k9 said:Seems like everyone is rooting against the BoSox. It would be an epic storyline if they do collaspe though.

Yes.Culex said:Seems like it more than last week. Will it be worse than the Met's collapse of recent years?

Joe Shlabotnik said:The Mets were seven games into the playoffs with 17 left to play. Boston was 4.5 games in at the same point.
The Mets collapse is pretty historic.

I think the fans are happy to see them spend the revenue they make rather than just pocket it so they can be "lovable underdogs." What they realize is that they are trying to win (albeit failing miserably lately).darkside31337 said:It's sad that Red Sox fans don't realize that they have become everything they once hated. The Red Sox are no longer the lovable underdogs. They are a filthy dynasty, becoming everything they once hated. They are the New York Yankees.

When a fair ball is called a foul which would have driven in the tying run in a ball game, that is kind of important.beast786 said:Yes. It is the UMP. It has to be the Umps.
Yeah, because out in the field today he was a picture of composure.darkside31337 said:Hey he at least did something today. Most of his teammates have trouble swinging the bat because they have both hands wrapped around their neck.
Eh, either way Francona would have lost that argument no matter what he chose to do.GitarooMan said:Yeah, because out in the field today he was a picture of composure.
EDIT: Aceves wouldn't have been wasted if he had been starting for the last month, which is what he absolutely 100% should have been doing. Francona's laughable too valuable in the bullpen rhetoric is a fucking joke when you can't even give a lead to the bullpen.
