get them on, get them over, watch alex gonzalez strike out to end the inning. atlanta braves baseball

That's just one loss. They can still get a split in Texas, and that's what they need. Split here (at minimum) and win the next two series.

Dante Bichette Jr has been hitting well so far there.

In one of the articles on the Mariners' streak it lists other teams with streaks of similar dubious quality. Apparently, the 1943 Athletics had a 20 game losing streak...

Twice.

Seems Chipper hurt himself on the homer. Lugo is mysteriously in now at 3B.
Haha, right. Of course. We should just trade for a LF and stick Prado at 3rd full time.

My bad bro, was just trying to prove an earlier point of mine about these out of shape umps having bad angles on plays. U ain't no animal lol

Haha, I know, I know. Just thought it was funny reading yours right after mine.

should have put Hinske in LF and move prado to 3rd, now i get to watch lugo strike out.

I'm not big on screaming about the manager, but goddamn, I didn't understand that double switch at all. If you tie the game, you bring in Kimbrel so it's not like you get another inning out of Linebrink. If you don't tie it, you either won or lost, so "saving" Linebrink obviously wouldn't matter.

I'd much rather have Conrad or Hinske up there than Julio F'N Lugo.

That team was 27-27 at one point.. finished 49-105. Way to end the year on a 22-78 stretch.
