Vectorman is one of those games that I adored in my younger days, but honestly, I can probably name a half-dozen sidescrolling shooters on the Genesis that I'd pick over it these days. It's just way too easy and short to hold my interest anymore. I'm glad that Sega didn't forget about it after all, though.

Hi Nintendo. I know at least some of you people read this, or at the very least someone who claimed to be a game tester with you all during E3. This is a good week. If more weeks are like this, I can stop looking like this:
This week has multiple releases on VC, as there should be, even though WiiWare releases are also being highlighted. Even if these games were poor of quality, it would at least be a great variety, which is more than could often be said as of late, but indeed they're not of poor quality at all and are well-regarded. Not that I expect this high a level of quality all the time, but the quantity is nice to see again. Keep it up and I can start looking like this:

Guys, I'm pretty sure those pictures aren't from a hentai. I think I've seen the source for those pictures before and that's not what they were from.
Anyway, this is a fantastic week, certainly one of the best in recent memory. But this would have been one of the best weeks in recent memory even if all we had gotten is Mega Man 9 because Mega Man 9 is so flipping awesome. Super Dodgeball and Vectorman are just icing on the cake. Delicious, delicious icing.
