Blazblue GAF Tournament!

Blazblue has received quite a good gathering of players here in GAF, so why not do a tournament? Here it is! Players of any skill level are welcome, this is just a tournament for having fun. Of course it will get awfully competitive down the road, but just enjoy!

This tournament will use the Round Robin format, in other words, entrees will be put in pools where they will only battle all the players inside the pool. Of each pool the top 2 will be chosen, and they will pass to the next stage of the tournament... a Double Elimination bracket. This way things will move faster... and also, thanks to BB's lobby functions all players can group themselves inside a lobby and play each other quickly... of course, this is optional, but it's a pretty faster way.

Deadline:

I am going to delay the Deadline to Sunday August 16th at 9PM EST. It's been three weekends and enough time, especially when BB fights are easy to setup and everyone cna join a lobby... like PSN Pool 4 guys did. Props to you guys. PSN Pools 2 and 3, XBL Pools 2 3 4 are absolutely suck, not reports from there so far so get your matches done guys.

The Brackets are COMPLETE!! Deadline is: Monday 24th of August. This is a double elimination tournament and it has been made with the results of the pools, even if some were sightly incomplete I'll post them soon the final tally but this is the OFFICIAL Bracket.

Remember, you will fight the guys inside your pool ONLY. You will follow the rules and PLEASE, you NEED to post how many rounds each of you won!



Rules
1. 16 or 32 players allowed, depends on the "demand".
2. No characters are banned!
3. Round Robbin tournament. Next stage is Double Elimination.
4. Rounds: Best 3 out of 5. (Note: Set the Rounds to 3, not 2, when creating the room)
5. Best of 3 matches. (Win 2 out of 3)
6. Seeding is random.
7. If the game disconnects, resume next fight with same amount of rounds won.
8. You are limited to the two characters you sign up with!
9. Lag is not a big problem in Blazblue, but if heavy connection problems arise let me know and I'll try and make changes.

Start Date will be when the positions are all filled or around early August if we don't at least get a minimum of 16 per console.

Dude we're not very good at BB lol. I guarantee you someone who doesn't post in the BB thread is probably going to sign up for this tourney and probably clean house then win it all.

Seriously, and Sagat would freaking die to Nu's DD4DD. The only reason this move exists in BlazBlue is because there are no cross-ups. But it'd be impossible for any SFIV character to block those 2 back swords.
