I canceled my gamestop physical preorder and went with digital why because its a online only game that I never intend to lend out, trade in or sell. I don't care too much to own or collect cases or disc and it will just be more convenient for me to build a digital library so I wont have to worry about swapping disc etc. I know stores like gamestop and walmart hate the idea of going full digital but corps like that are never truly for you the consumer anyways.

So...I preordered this game on PSN a few days ago. Then the versions came out... Should I spend the extra 30 on the upgrade (And what is an 'expansion reservation')? More importantly, will I get beta access with a normal preorder?

It's basically a season pass. You're getting the DLC for like $5 less than it would cost you if you purchased them individually if the $35 value is to be believed.
Yes, the beta should appear in your download list or something like that when it becomes available. You will not receive a code to redeem on Bungie.net like with other pre-orders.

Expansion reservation is preordering dlc like a season pass. Extra price is gud if you want the dlc.
Yes, do the upgrade. For the price difference you get the Expansion contents, plus all the digital content that the Limited and Ghost Editions get. It's worth it.

I love close combat maps like this and like Rusted Lands. I hope that the large-scale map they use in the beta is better than the Moon, because that was average in the alpha.

I never actually got to try the moon map, I only jumped into PVP on the last day of the alpha and only got the rusted lands map, I don't know why, I had a blast. The PVE just consumed me.

I hated the moon. Stupid tanks killed me so many times, and there wasn't a good counter to them, except other vehicles. I still managed tons of captures every time, though.

Get in the turrets or use a Rocket launcher. Hell basic team work will destroy a tank.
