I downloaded the US Alpha and played it on my JP account. :P

To this day I've never had any issues with games downloaded from one region and played on another.
 
Any word on what IGN's next Destiny First feature will be? I cannot stop consuming every piece of media that revolves around this game, I seriously feel like a kid again...

9/9/14 is the release date. July 17th is the Beta. :D

The price and pre load feature would be a game changer for me to permanently switch to digital only mode.
I don't care about the physical swag. I just want the ingame stuff and the Expansion Pass. The digital Guardian Edition would come to 66-70€ while my physical Limited Edition Amazon.co.uk pre order will be 140€ with release day delivery to Germany. We're talking about a 70€ difference here.

How do I set that up and how many "main" accounts can I have?
When I deacitvate my DS4 and press the PS button I can choose which account I want to log in with. Am I already set or do I need to do anything besides that?
I want to make sure everything works on day one. I'd end up buying the game twice if anything goes wrong. Can't afford to not play on release day...

I ordered this from the UK PSN, will I be able to upgrade my standard edition to the special digital edition when it comes on the UK PSN or will I have to ring them up and cancel it and then reorder?

On your US account (and well, all your accounts) go to Settings > PSN > Activate as Your Primary PS4

I think I did that with all my accounts because I didn't know what it meant. I have a German account, one for US and one for UK. Is there a way to check which ones are active main accounts on my PS4 right now? I didn't get any warnings or errors when I did it.
 
Can someone link me to a list of what content will be available in the beta? I'm having trouble finding a concrete list, and I feel like an infant.

I've just been watching Destiny pvp videos on youtube; probably watched all of them at this point. It's a sickness. I know most people here are focused on the co-op aspects of the game, but I can't think of an mmo style game that has seamless gear/ability integration with pvp at anywhere near this level while still maintaining relative balance (skill is still king).

I was extremely impressed by how polished the PvP felt for an alpha build. The weapon dmg seemed balanced and the level design is hnnngggghhhhh.

Cannot wait to hop into the crucible day one and trap some people in Void 'nades.

It's simple really, here is the link to the Main Clan/Umbrella of NeoGAF for Destiny. DestinyGAF. Under that banner, we will create subclans for each time zones/platforms. Things will be much clearer once the Clan System is out. I'm betting on the 10th for that.

I just received the same mic in the mail a few days ago. According to other GAFfers, it sounds pretty good. And I like how the cord is not very long. I pair mine with Audio Technica AD900. I'm not sure if the Dualshock 4 is enough to drive those 990 Pro, but lt me know how it sounds. You might need a Fiio E6.
 
I just heard about the whole "Guardians are dead" theory. Do we have any discussion thread about this? Seems really interesting, can't believe I missed it.
