Cool, thank you for this. Can I buy the Master Clockwork Pistol at most of the gun sellers throughout the world, or do I need to do something specific to get it?
You're welcome.
You can pick up the Master Clockwork Pistol at any weapon store. I'm not sure of the criteria, generally the more stars an economy has, the higher chances of it stocking better goods. I'm not sure if I'm making a mistake by confusing cause and effect with coincidence, but I've noticed the further along I get in the game, the more items will be made available. Well, it could have been
because I'm further in the game, hence I've done more jobs and trades, that's why the stores start offering better gear.
Either way, no special requirements, just keep moving the main story and try your best not to fuck up the economy. It will show up. It isn't so much that the economy can't be repaired; it is that repairing it takes precious time.

Also, I'm sorry if I wasn't clear, but the perspective shift is during each of rounds two and three. I'll be in first person perspective, shooting a target, when suddenly I'm kicked out to third person perspective. The round is ongoing the entire time, and of course this costs me valuable time.
Yup I've experienced this too, at times I attribute it to my fingers slipping, but no biggie, just resume pressing it. 175 is a bit hard, but definitely doable if you can maintain an average of 60 points per round. Once you start farming for dolls, you are gunning for 50 points/round. Practice a bit and you will soon find that there is some room for errors, hence the shift in perspective, while detrimental, isn't going to mar your chances at getting the top and 2nd prizes by a wide margin.

But do they kill 3 things in a row with one shot, without targeting? Do they blow their puny little ragdoll corpses away like the Enforcer can? I think not! It doesn't sound like something I'd use in round 8 of the crucible tho so I see where you're coming from with that.
I like to switch up my weapons as much as I switch up my clothes. I have the Red Dragon as well but I haven't used it as much as my other legendary guns. I don't think any weapon can be described as pointless and not useful what with the game being so easy and all

. 'Cept maybe the toy weapons...
For AoE, I use level 3 Time Stop to get advantage in time, then unleash level 5 fire/lightning spells. If you are talking about getting satisfaction from a close range blast with a shotgun, that I am with you on it being satisfying. But I maintain that its pragmatic worth is questionable in the presence of more efficient killing methods.
