I'm not quite sure what you're trolling.

In our last game, we beat you.

End of story.

see if this was the leeds of like say 9 years ago...i would be mad and wouldve said, united will erase that fluke by hammering leeds next season etc etc

but thats the thing, there is no "next" match, that match against united reserves was a cup final for the once mighty leeds united :lol

I like Cant0na, since lunchbox was banned we missed someone to laugh at in this thread. Finally those sad days are over.

urgh. I hate the linking of fandom and geography. My local club is Millwall FC. Fuck that.

I suppose I can relate. I hate every club within a 30 km radius. My local's Bolton btw (which officially has the most knobheads in the league).

Mehmet Topal should of stayed at Galatasaray lol

I don't know, I'm all for the Turks in Europe thing. Its just I never saw Mehmet Topal as "talented" but we'll see how it goes..Valencia fans seem excited..don't know why though.

- fabregas is shit

they're all facts pretty much
I mean really. The guy's the best midfielder in England. Iniesta can play on the left if everyone is fit. He is the perfect successor to Xavi.

No, not really.

It was a joke about how very few of Manchester United's fans are actually from Manchester.

It was not to be taken seriously.

But then hey, you live in Essex, thus you're a chav cunt who drives a 106.

No thanks, don't want Ibra. Would take Yaya Toure or Bojan though.

Happy enough with RvP, Arshavin, Bendtner and Chamakh

My thoughts exactly.
I don't rate Ibrahimovic personally and I think he wouldn't set the Premiership a blaze.

To be honest I'd rather Fabregas stayed but it's not looking that way. :(

Hang on - Ibra's not had the greatest season, but he's still twice the player of Bendtner.

Don't rate Ibra too much, but he is much better than Bendtner. Just saying that we have enough depth up front as we mainly play a 4-3-3 and RvP is the main striker. Have alot more needs than CF, need a GK, CB, DM and CM if Cesc does go.

Is anyone going to make a 2010 Official thread? I was thinking the name of

South Africa 2010 World Cup - The Beautiful Thread of the Official Game
:lol

If not,

South Africa 2010 World Cup - The Official Thread of the only sport that the world cares about

I'm in the midst of it Meus. I hope it'll be up either late this weekend or beginning of next week. Don't want to get that thread used for Champions League Final stuff and so on.

I had some ideas for it but I suck at PS. I was thinking the trophy on the left, with a large banner of an African sunset and yellow streaks, with a large image of a player celebrating on the right. Or even more potent, how about an image of an African child supporters? Something to encompass it being a World tournament, a global celebration as opposed to just another football tournament

I don't know whether this is a positive or negative reflection of La Liga's strength as a league

You can take another point of view... Let's see how many players from other nations come from spanish league.

True, but does that say the EPL and Seria A can attract a wider pool of International players or are those type of players not as good as the Spanish ones that fill La Liga?

Uh, that would require those players to be playing in Serie A.
I think he's pointing to how obscenely top-heavy La Liga is.

Not that this is anything unique in soccer.
