The problem that brings up is that I don't know what others consider "cheating". We might be playing Coagulation and I might take the enemy flag from under the floor, would others consider that cheating? It makes it hard to play because I have to watch everyone to not see me doing something that "might not be right" and it really would slow me and others down who might know some tricks here and there. It almost feels like a witch hunt.

using the warthog dummy glitch, modem standby and the "bullets dont hit you" glitches are bannable offenses on XboxLive. (some people have been getting pegged with 1 week bans... though this is probably when a certain amount of people leave ban feedback)

Grabbing flags through walls is not.

I haven't heard of anyone using the dummy glitch getting banned. In fact Bungie stated that glitches that are in the game will not cause people to be banned. The standby is the only "true" cheat they ban for at this point.

Wait here's the quote from one of the mods at the Bungie forums ( on the dummy glitch ):

"I consider it cheating, but it's not something that would get your Gamertag banned since you're not manipulating the data sent between game and server."

heh, I would leave but I genuinely enjoy playing with you all, the clan as a whole though lacks a competitive "fire" or "spirit" and are too uptight about the whole dummying crap.
I'll stop using it, but everytime we'll lose to some team that IS using it, i will nod my head left and right.

Personally, I rather lose to a cheater, than beat a cheater by cheating. Don't get me wrong, i'm very competitive and I hate losing, but if someone has to cheat to beat me, then obviously they not worth wasting a real match against. And plus, anyone who has to cheat to win in a VIDEO GAME, seriously must not have much else going for them. So i'll let them have their so-called "win."

I know! it was huge. I was standing there looking at it, and got carbined in the head, that modem glitch was actually impossible to play against, not like the dummy glitch which is annoying and stupid. It is actually impossible. I was teleporting half way across the stage while trying to run to the bomb spot.

Im not a big fan of people talking throughout the game myself. especially during clan matches. I mean in the major matches I played in last night we were sooooo disorganized and frenetic. there was a lot of needless chatter on the mic IMO.

Oh and yea I agree about the nonsense chatter that goes on in most of our games,you'll never hear other clans talking abotu RE4,KOTOR2, or the Minish Cap during clan matches ;)

I know what you mean though. I played quite a few games in TS last night with my brother and my cousin and I score right around 20 in a bunch of games (from what I remember) and we still either lost or barely won.

ok stats are working now......hmmmmm seems my memory sucks :lol

Last night on Neutral Coagulation, we had the bomb and nobody was at their base. So what does my teammate with the bomb decide to do? JUMP OUT OF THE WARTHOG AT THE MIDDLE OF THE MAP! Of course he got owned. His explanation? "I wanted to trick them and make them think I was still in the Warthog." Dumbest thing I've ever seen in my life.

hey I have a question about ranked games, my favourite mode is team skirm but I have trouble getting past level 13, does your rank increase faster if you are the person that acutally captures the flag? I tend to avoid the actual flag running capturing in favour of blocking/killing the opponents cause I usually seek out the sword/rockets/sniper whatever, is that why I'm not going up as fast as I would like? Well that and the shitty shitty cheaters cheating me?

No it doesnt really matter if you go for the capture/arming; or just go for kills. All that matters is how you did against the other team, if that is by killing them or owning them by capturing the flag twice and not letting them capping it even once.

Edit:: Donkey you gonna be on anytime soon?

nah, it's mid day here and I don't finish till 6pm tonight. I'm 6 1/2 hours away from a game :(

EDIT: I'm not sure about the flag capture thing though, because most caps in the team comes first on bungie.net, so If I get 1million kills, but you get 3 captures and no kills. you will be marked as first and I will get second place.....

Eh, it happens. Nobody really cares, and if they are arming the bomb, and you have a rocket launcher, you don't care who is standing there.

Oh, and were you in that game where Prine and I were just jumping around hitting the lights on Zanzibar and watching them sway. The realistic shadows that it cast were just too gorgeous to ignore.

I think we were all there.. I remember running outside the base and seeing the other team come flying in, with warthogs and everything.. And in my mic, all I hear is.. "Wow, everyone come here and look at the realistic lighting!!"

The ones I am most proud of are my shotgun betrayals and my sticky betrayals.

*Teammate runs by, sticks to foot*

gives you enough time to say sorry BEFORE the announcer tells you about your mis-behaving. :lol

I owned a guy so bad in head to head today he quit. He was a level 7 i was 5, i went up 6 nothing on Beaver Creek and he threw in the towel :lol

Can someone let me back in please? I'm actually playing Halo2 online now. And I don't suck. So that has to count for something.:)

The new clan is Neo GAF, add everyone to your friends list and play with some people. That's the best way to get in.

Collossus is such a broke ass level,once someone gets the sniper plus 2 other noobs using that broke ass plasma pistol+battle rifle you can fuckin forget it.

edit-Not to mention the Team Slayer ranking system is broke all to hell as well,why do I go down in rank when I get 20 kills or whatever,but I lost because some dude couldn't get fuckin 2 kills?

This is the exact reason why i'm not going to play any Team playlists unless i have at least 2 of you guys with me. Once you're at level 13-14 you cannot trust the matchmaking process to get you respectable players most of the time. It sucks, but now i can get my rumble pit and head to head levels up.

Yea it sucks,I should easily be level 18,I've been 16 3 times,but I always drop because I always lose some because someone on my team is just doing horrible.I had one guy just a minute ago who was -1 until like the last few kills of the game -_- Level 14 my ass...

heh, it seems the only time I ever get a sticky kill it's on my own team!
Can anyone here actually throw stickys reliably? I think that would improve my game big timeI was chasing a guy with our flag and I only had a shotgun and one plasma, I could have nailed him with a sticky easy, but I missed 4 times in a row. help required!

Bungie seriously needs to take the Snipers out of Team Slayer,games have nothing to do with who is better at killing people,it's all about grabbing the sniper or both of them then you fuckin win every time.It's starting to get lame,especially at a higher level.Oh and fix your broke ass Plasma Pistol while you're at it.
