How exactly does my quote entitle me to a heaping bowl of crow exactly? Halo 2 has sold very well, but it hasn't owned everything. Comment still stands.

I think console FPS sequels dont excite me it's not like on the PC where each iteration gets a massive boost in graphics.
I think this will have an effect on Halo 2's impact. Like how some people are already comparing it to Vice City in terms of sequels.

There is no pont comparing Halo sales to SA sales. I dont like the GTA series and loved the first halo, but SA will sell double if not more than Halo 2. MGS3 is also gonna outsell Halo 2

I certainly didn't expect such huge numbers and I don't think anybody could legitimately claim they could either. I didn't see any predictions from anybody saying 2.3 Day 1. But I did say, that no number would surprise me and that both games were going to kick muhco ass.

It can be summarized even easier than that actually. All my initial my post was trying to say before he said I was in denial (which is why I jumped on him) was that my comment was still valid, as Halo 2 didn't sell 3 million units in a single day, or hit $150 million in sales according to information released so far. If you do a search and find the thread where my original supposed crow eating comment comes from, you'll notice that my response.

Over 9.8 million units sold in the US. Over 1 million units sold in Canada which is included in the 2.3 million units. That makes for ~ 11 million units If you're going to attempt to post numbers, at least get them right.

I don't see how the NPD numbers can disagree with that at all. Even if it were off by 500k, the rest of November would more than make up for it, by a lot. Plus, that number admittedly includes Canada, which is ~10% of the US's number (give or take).
There is zero chance that that Novembers NPD would be less than 2.3 million
