LOTR who the fuck knows. The Tolkien Estate can seriously fuck over New Line right now.
Episode 2 was shot digitally with Sony HDW-F900 camera that has 1080p resolution in 16:9 format, but due to movie's 2.35:1 format, only 817 vertical pixels ended up being used. Essentially, EP2 recording resolution is 1920x817, which I think is pretty common resolution for BD and HDDVD (again because of the movie's aspect ratios)brandonh83 said:I was watching Episode III the other day, simply yearning for that to be in HD. Good god when that comes out it'll likely be the best looking Blu-ray ever.

Episode 3 was made with HDW-F950 which has better color reproduction, but pretty much the same resolution. However, by then they may have used Canon's anamorphic lens to make use of full 1080p vertically.
I'm just saying this to limit your expectations a bit - EP2 and 3 were not made using some magic digital tech that provides otherworldly resolution or quality.

No word yet. But I'm awaiting the 10 disc box set that is inevitable.robertsan21 said:Cool!
but what about the original trilogy?
John Rhys-Davies' name may not be as familiar as those of the other actors from "Indiana Jones," but his face is unforgettable. Even when he was covered in heavy makeup as the horny dwarf Gimli in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, Rhys-Davies made his presence known. He appeared in the first and third installment of "Indiana Jones" and will appear in the new film this year.
"Seems he has not been asked to be in Indy 4 or even approached about it.
From the little information he had about the film he had been told through a third party that the character of Sallah had been written out of Indy 4 in favour of a younger cast."
That only means one thing as far as I care.the horny dwarf Gimli

TAJ said:No, no, it's called thievery. Their accountants are just helping them get away with it. Obviously, they didn't do a good enough job of it this time.
I'm not in the entertainment business, but I have personal experience in this area.

Who cares about Sallah? He's a cool character, but does he have to be in every Indiana Jones movie? Two's enough. Plus I doubt he IS in it. (Sorry.)Illuminati said:*faints*
hey, I was replying to your comment about New Line/LotR.ManaByte said:What does that have to do with the Indy 4 trailer?
Yes he does, for comic relief and nostalgia factor. Every Indy movie has someone funny in it, Sallah, Short-round, Indy's dad, etc. From the current cast I don't know who is going to fill that role. So I'm getting my hopes up, which will probably be inevitably crushed if he is not in it.temp said:Who cares about Sallah? He's a cool character, but does he have to be in every Indiana Jones movie? It's the cover for the comic book adaptation, not the poster.temp said:Great poster. I wonder why Ray Winstone's so much bigger than Shia, I didn't really expect his character to get a lot of time.
Yeah, it's an awesome cover for the comic.AgentOtaku said:this needs to be the new theatrical one sheet![]()
