Official Madden 13 Xbox 360 Online Franchise Thread:Stat padding? Never heard of him.

Seems to be! Which is why I won't be doing that again. Like I said earlier, I had done it a few times against livewire and the only time I saw something strange was when Willis stood still while the te ran open on the drag but then again without knowing what to look for I have no idea on other effects

Yea, strange how the ball went right to Willis when I was hitting the TE's button and yanking the control stick as far away from Willis as possible.

Wellie is the only legit Madden player in this league. The rest of us are cheating frauds.

Exploit to win is what this league devolved into. I'm game.

gg wellington. my auto D came up for me big time, including an animation that i had never seen from a DB before. wellington has 3rd and goal from the 5 in a 0-0 game, TE (or maybe WR) was running across the field and had a good 3 or 4 yards on whitner but as the ball is approaching whitner does this super-lay-out-for-the-ball dive and picks it off.

I have now thrown, in two games today, 11 picks. Fucking ELEVEN. I think I had a turnover differential of -10 on the day, I guess I am happy I only lost by a combined 21 points in those two.

In this game tho, I am particularly mad as I feel I played a solid game but I was failed by my secondary yet again. First drive for FMT, I get a pick to put me inside the redzone right away. Winslow is, what I feel, wide open with Whitner trailing by about 4 yards. Whitner dives for it and makes the insane pick.

Hmmmmm...

I'm kidding, FMT is legit, I am sure of it.

My daughter wrote a letter to santa and read it to me when I walked in the door. Then she gave me a huge hug and said "i love you"

It will bottom out when she is sending naked pictures of herself to boys at the age of 14.

Did you just make a mom joke?

Are you tanking your shit talking jokes on purpose like bob in madden? Or it is just the baby keeping you up late?

Didn't you once miss two goaline field goals against ez just so you could draft a tight end named jamie?

Close, but no. Eznark's libel accused me of running backwards twice at the goal line. Of course you can't trust anything he says, though. I got caught in those dumb animations that push your player backwards.

I will admit this, though.

I did miss a 45 yard FG against McNulty and his Vikings on purpose on the last game of the season last year leading to a 29-28 loss instead of a 31-29 win.

That loss moved me up 6 spots in the draft. Game would have been a meaningless win which would have hurt my draft positioning.

That throwing stick stunt of yours has boomeranged on us.
I recall bob claiming that the fact that one of his missed field goals hit the upright proved he wasn't trying to lose.

Didn't you see Mason Crosby's dome fgs get affected by wind? Same thing could have happened to me in that situation.

McNulty deserved the win. Down 28 to 23, he converted late in the 4th on a deep bomb on 3rd and 18 in double coverage. Of course the ball bounced off my CBs head, over my safety and into his receivers hands. It was a sign from MaddenGod to lose the game and not take away his glory.

I still think a perfectly timed fade will beat Y to win in two man press and bump coverage.

If there is a way to lower press and bump coverage, I'm all for it.

99 release Marshall shouldn't constantly get stood up at the line in 95 percent of passing plays.

It's only two man press that gives unrealistic bump. If they bump a high release receiver out of cover 1 or zero, the DB will get torched.

In Dime 2 Man under, the outside DBs bump, but the inside DBs do not, so if you press them good chance they get beat if the receiver has high release. Some people are putting their scrub DBs outside in dime packages to get the 2 Man bump boost, and putting their good corners inside so they can press and have a chance at winning at the line.

It completely kills the whole play the ball if they see it aspect that they tried to say they fixed.

If you're holding down Y, doesn't matter if your/CPU player "sees" the ball or not, he automatically makes his way to the ball.

It makes the passing game stupidly hard at times especially on deeper routes. You can make the proper read on the coverage but if your opponent holds Y soon enough, it won't matter.

Nailed it.

it really only effects me against linebackers who are trailing a TE or playing a cover 2 look where they just kinda warp to it. If you throw a ball against a DB that can be picked, it was probably a bad throw

Not really. Take the staple Madden flood play out of trips. You have the backside receiver on a cross, front side option are a flat route by the TE, Out route by Slot, Fade/streak by the outside receiver. If you throw the out route, the DB on the fade does a 180, and goes straight for the out route even if he's in man coverage, not to mention the slot corner playing tighter.

Some of the issues are that the defensive players can cover some serious ground in a short time but the ball speed is slow as fuck. The trajectories need more work. I should be able to drop a ball over the LB and before the safety arrives with fair consistency.

The defender wins too much on contested passes, IMO.

Nailed it again, makes it even harder for weak armed QBs.

The best part about this is that in a great twist, the guys that can't really use this exploit are us honest and true DL players that need their right thumbs to get off of blocks. Ban non-DL play!

hahaha

I think he discovered it by doing/testing it himself, no real reliable way to tell if someone is doing it is there?

Someone mentioned it when I complained about the whiffed hit sticks, and then I noticed an int out of the flood play I mentioned above, it was ridiculous. Exactly what storybook stated in his posts, the thing they wanted to get rid of is actually still there. Defenders always reacted when a user hit Y, it's always been there, but the ballhawk feature takes it to another level, and that's something I didn't realize until my game with Phee and the double slants.

that flood play works fine in man coverage. if i run it and the other guy is in zone i usually look to the backside or TE quickly so i never really pay attention to what the DB does in that situation.

It depends on the zone though, out route can be open because the flat route drags/brings down the outside zone coverage.

Against stock D the flood play is filthy this year, but if it's 3rd and 10 and you run it here's the likely scenario if your opponent is holding Y as you release the ball. Against two deep man, outside CB will be slow to get up field because of how long the jam is, so depending on the Nickel package the slot WR may get a free release and be into his route before the outside CB has even crossed the 10 yard mark. He'll do a 180 and go for the ball. I've seen a DB defending the streak, about 5 yards away from the WR running the out route, turn around and break on the outside ball and intercept it when he never had eyes on the QB/Ball. All triggered by Y.

It may not happen 100% of the time, but it's there, I just need to go into practice mode and test shit out.

Whatever, I like this game, I like the XP aspect of it, I like that we finally have a fully fledged franchise mode, and I like the chess matches I get with some of you guys. This BS hurts none of that.

But just to add fuel to the fire, I've thrown 21 picks this year with Bradford. In my four losses, I've thrown 18 of them. 6 against FMT and Ramirez, 5 against DM, and 1 against Levious. In 7 games I threw 4 picks.

Arrest these cheaters.
