I really suck at RTS games. I remember when I was at PAX this prior year, I just sat down at a gaming rig and figured I would give it a shot. It just threw me into a game with people playing over the internet. All I could do was apologize profusely.

If you go to Roster under personnel, and you select a player and hit release, it will prompt you and let you know what the cap hit and penalty is before confirming

you can also go to "roster" and act like you're going to release a player and it will say "Releasing MLB Patrick Willis will free $5.69M in cap room but incur a penalty of $6M. Are you sure you want to release this player?"
