Grey Goo is hard. But it's awesome.
I played a skirmish last night with a friend against one random easy CPU, ended up being Goo. Damn Goo was wrecking us for awhile on easy. We eventually won but it crazy trying to track the Goo all over the map.

Nice to have a RTS out that is fun but not a StarCraft clone.

Had never even heard of the game until a couple of days ago, then I heard that a bunch of ex-Westwood guys were involved. Now I have to check it out.

It's awesome and it's hard as balls. The UI is really well designed. The cinematics and just overall look of the game is awesome.

The only real downsides are that the factions are pretty derivative, there isn't a lot that is unique about them to set them apart from other games (haven't touched the goo yet though) and supposedly MP is super imbalanced.

What happened that everyone is saying to cancel it?

What Sanjuro said is sorta true. People don't like their nonsensical storylines. People love the guy that won but he's not ready. They've become so predictable and don't put effort into anything else except "their" guys.

Just used the 10% off PSN code to purchase the Driveclub season pass, Costume Quest 2, and maybe most importantly, Super Mega Baseball

Watched the first half of Wolf of Wall Street last night. It's ok. I hate all the overproduction and fourth wall breaking stuff though. In this case, since I am pretty familiar with the story, it makes a little bit more sense to me because the story in and of itself isn't all that unique or interesting, but man does Scorsese overdo it. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, I haven't loved anything he's done in the last 10 years but that Gangs of New York glow refuses to fade!

I thought Boiler Room was more informative about that type of stuff. Wolf of Wallstreet was just a rollercoaster and we were all just there for the ride... and Margot Robbie.

That's why I stopped watching years ago. In essence, since they're the only game in town now, they can do whatever they want and the crowd has to eat it up or just not watch anything.

It was a fun but terrible movie. It was like riding a roller coaster for 3 hours. It was cool for a bit then not so much. I like the movie more for the quotables and over the top scenes (I want my bachelor party to be like the plane scene) than anything of actual substance.

As far as Scorcese, Hugo was good, Shutter Island was OK, but from then I go all the way back to Casino/Goodfellas.

The entire first 90 minutes should have been like three scenes, but I guess drugs and tits sell so....

I despised The Departed. Which was made all the more excruciating since I was living in Boston at the time and everyone there jerked off to it.

Never saw Hugo and I don't want scary movies, but my wife liked Shutter Island!

I have #DRIVECLUB. But like I never see you on it or anything .
2 new tour packs coming tomorrow I think, so I'll be playing then!

I've played the shit out of the game though... I have to do stupid things now to keep it interesting like cockpit, no hud, single lap races on legend difficulty with the worst weather conditions

Goodfellas is GOAT and Departed was excellent. Gangs of New York doesn't get enough love (it was nominated a bunch of times, I just mean among the general population)

Because I wish I had come up with something like what they are doing so I could be rich and shit too like Soka and Ferny.

I'm pretty sure you can be Ferny rich. You just have to do illegal Ferny things.

I got driveclub this weekend! Someone invite me to the club!

No one liked The Departed? :(

I loved the departed.

Side note: I watched Gone Girl this weekend. I don't get why everyone hated the ending. It's really the only logical way it could've ended with everything that happened in the final 45 minutes or so. Unless you hated all of that too, in which case, I can understand.

Okay, so I wasn't crazy.

I least your wife didn't have you watch 'a fault in our stars' (that i know of). So it could be worse. Cheesy, and pretentious as fuck.

She watched that herself. She liked it. She loved the book though. She also loved Gone Girl though, so her taste is suspect.

Actually now that I think about it, she likes pretty much any movie.

You referred to Vern Schillinger as "that guy from Spiderman??" You fucking monster.

He is also the State Farm guy!

I've actually never watched Oz. That was one of the rare HBO shows that I never tackled. This would be the perfect opportunity to watch it to, except the lack of electricity is going to fuck me.

I thought you were the Best Buy master race?

Done buying majority of games day 1. Got burned bad last year. It's either bug filled and needs a patch or will be $20 cheaper in 2.5 weeks. And I have tons of games that I haven't gotten to across all of my platforms anyway.

Signed back up for gamefly and that's how I'll do the majority of my gaming this year.

How have I never heard of Super Mega Baseball before, wow.

The ‘feel’ of hitting, jumping, diving, etc is indescribably more precise at 60fps than at 30fps. Fun gameplay has always been our top priority, and this was one of the key requirements to facilitate maximum fun.

60 FPS confirmed more fun.

I loved C&C and Red-Alert. I use to play it on westwood online all the time. Grey Goo is like them?
