ha, I was just removed from the "casual" league for arguing over the commish's new rules.

Mainly fourth down got really strict, and it was causing issues with people being in no mans land with the wind

it had to be 4th and inches, if it was 4th and 1 you had to punt unless it was fourth quarter and you were down, no exceptions.

It prevented sim play, and a week after it was implemented my opponent was stuck in no mans land with two 4th and 1's, and had to punt a wopping 20 yards for a field position change of 10 yards.

Then one of our guys had two 4th quarter TD's in blow out. One on a 50 yard run due to defense botching 3 open tackles, and a 3rd down pass that went for a TD. Per rules passing on third down was always fine in chewing clock, but commish said he should have ran out of bounds in both cases to prevent scoring.

So he is getting put on auto for a week, and a few people disagreed.

well the inaccurate QB thing is new this year, and it's not really tied to someone being hot and cold. kap was inaccurate when he was at 20 confidence and he's inaccurate now that he is in the 80's confidence (not cold either!). after how Fatt played today you can't hate on EA making him inaccurate!

nor i with kap :D

Honestly it depends on the opponent but the game is supposed to be fun.

I am very liberal with 4th down. I think as long as it makes sense I have no problem with people going for it on 4th down.

Bowser if you're up 24-3, you're allowed to run the ball every once in a while to run some clock instead of constant pass and screen plays. Not sure if you were aware of that.

Wow and you call a timeout with 14 seconds in the half to throw a bomb for another TD

It's halftime, what's your problem? He is only up 3 scores? Nothing wrong with trying to win a football game.

Without knowing the situation or score at the time, I dont know that id blame someone for trying to get a score before halftime. It only takes a fumble or two to make that a game again out of no where.

Yeah i thought you were talking about right before the game, not half. Don't see anything wrong with what happened. Wait was he up 41-3 before that final td to end the half?

I apologize if you think I was intending to run up the score. I've seen large deficits turn to comebacks in the game. My running game was very ineffective when used so I tried to stick to short, accurate passes.

I took the foot off the gas in the second half but was bearing in mind that my QB's confidence was at 7 entering this week and his accuracies were all 5 points lower than in the confidence adjusted overall.

Again, sorry if it came off as running it up.

No problem. I can see how it would annoy you and having been in that situation plenty of times before, it can be pretty frustrating.

Apologies for that, I'll try to bear it in mind next time.

Where in my first post did I say he was running up the score at halftime? My second post was 12 minutes later.

Also I think our definitions of running up the score are different. I was up 21 or 24 to 0 on Greg, and I think he can attest to this, that I pretty much ran the ball almost exclusively going forward to run the clock and in the second half I used chew clock at different parts of the series. It's not fun when your offense has nothing going for it and you're down 40 points and the other team is stopping the clock with incomplete passes or what have you.

I wasn't upset over the score at all. I could lose 80-0 and have been fine. I'm not one to complain after games and you could look back at the years I've been in the league to see that. I was more annoyed that I think you shouldn't be exclusively running passing plays when you're up that high, especially in the 4th quarter of a game. As I said last night tho, I came at Bowser the wrong way, he explained his reasoning and I apologized, that is that.

Kinda stayed up all night play This War Of Mine. Game is pretty good. I think its going to be one of those play it once and never again experiences. But maybe it changes up a lot through different playthroughs. Now I'm useless at work. Well even moreso than normal.

I actually recall once you were up that much you paused the game and sent me a message on PSN "get fucked, loser" and then took all your timeouts and your remaining 4 pauses on your next drive

I actually didn't pause the game, I used the trusty PSN app to send you that message ;)

That's a lie, that app sucks
