GG Weli, I thought I was done when you toasted me play one with Beckham. That was really dumb of me to come out with a linebacker on him. We both threw a couple of really idiotic INTs

Gg bro, that drop by Fowler sealed my fate. It forced me to kick the FG and give you too much time to kill on your final drive.

Gave up the the TD to give me a chance but the sack killed any hope I had.

Trufant's injury had me scared. Don't need any injuries heading into the playoffs. Have a good off season, see you next season!

GG my brother. Yeah I thought I was going to romp after the first two scores. The Riley bounce off 2 guys TD right after the OBJ break 2 tackles TD had me thinking it was going to be one of those games.

For the most part it can be stopped from any defense. You just have to recognize it early and get your defender behind the blockers that are setting the screen up. you can usually hit the RB as soon as the pass goes off in that scenario.
But again, you have to recognize the screen really early and that works well. Otherwise, I think the best approach is to quickly attack the outside and make the person cut back in, (hopefully) into a defender or two.

Yea, I think my reaction speed to it is just too slow. I was expecting to see it a few times on important 3rd downs and even when I knew it was coming I ended up getting blocked. Right around the middle of the 3rd I started sending the DE on whichever side I thought maybe it was going into a flat zone coverage but that didn't help. On the game winning TD my DE was covering the flat and he still scored.

Ah well. This season is in the books with no wins. Better luck next year hopefully we have another season.

The better case scenario is that in a good screen defense, the outside DB is still close the the line and you can run the MLB/Safety, whatever you control, into the screen position for an early tackle or pick, and if you miss the DB is there or sets you up to make the quick tackle as well.

I've had times where I didn't notice the screen because I was so focused on covering my zone or playing the man I was supposed to cover, but I happened to get lucky and have a player close that doesn't get pancaked allowing a quick tackle.

No big deal man. I am still up if you want to play. but if you are having car trouble, I understand if you don't want to. I am available tomorrow night too if you want to wait until then.

How much later will you be up? Tomorrow will be better most likely at this point. Does this game even matter for your seeding haha?

Yeah, I think I get the 3 seed with the win. Otherwise, I would just say sim it.

I probably won't be up too much longer. Let's just plan on tomorrow. If that doesn't work, I guess I will leave it up to my backups in a sim. Don't want to risk injuries heading into the playoffs.

I'm glad.

I love playing my games right away but I don't think its cool to sim through people's games. We are all in this league to play this game, as mad as it makes us. I think it's messed up to remove games from a teams schedule if they are within the scheduled advance period. Except for like DM, Trasher, and Mcneily tho.

I forgot what stages there are but we should figure out the draft once we hit the 3rd round and set it say 4 or 5 days in advance since we always do 24 hour advances in the offseason anyways

I basically worked as a slave for the entire past year. I'm lucky if I'm home by 7pst which makes playing east coasters incredibly difficult at that time. I think I had one sim this season that was entirely my fault. Previous seasons were worse so I'm sorry for that. I also had no time to really learn the game this year and barely played the one season the past year so I've completely sucked at the game. I have done my damndest to try and get my games in whenever I can.
