GG, what you going to do. Game was already over, but it was a game of laughs for my defense yet again.
None of this is your problem, but just to outline my issues with my own team here.
Force two fumbles, teams just runs around like idiots and doesn't pick up either. Receivers seemingly slowing mid route for no reason making balls uncatchable and or picked. Ash hasn't looked slow in any previous game, but he kept getting slowed or almost stopping right before the ball got to him this game. Dunno what that's about.

I'm having a really hard time saying I'm having any fun with this game this season. I want to say it's still a better version of Madden, and maybe the Browns D is just playing like the Browns D.
It honestly seems like I have to make the player with my user controller player to get any stop, which I don't see from a lot of other teams. My pick, my 2 forced fumbles were me, the sack wasn't me, but I knew I covered the guy you were looking to pass to. Only the 4th sack of the season I think for the team.

Your defender makes an over the back catch without looking at the ball, while getting hit.

Team just runs past or dives near the football. (Game was over, doesn't matter, but still)
Just a couple wtf moments.

Just tired of the same issues with this team. I'm going to need like 5 more drafts to be as competitive as I was in the previous 2 versions of the game.

I thought the same thing watching the gif at first, but I'm pretty sure a lob would have been picked, and this was a game that I doubt Manziel accuracy could have put a bullet between the safety and the DB coming back.

Either way, the post isn't about the defense making up ground. I took a chance with 1 on 1 and as you say, that's RNG that I have to deal with down multiple scores at the end of the game. The reason I made the gif was the catch, which is probably a crazier catch the the real life OBJ
