I mean, Bird hasn't been here all season or last season iirc, so he probably missed that whole saga.

I just rewatched that whole game, and I saw 3 PA plays called all game. You linked the 1st (an incomplete pass)...I thought the PA went to the FB, so I hot routed AD. My bad on that...I just wasn't paying close enough attention to the play art...won't happen again. The 2nd time, I realized the PA was to AD. I did hot route my FB (or TE in this case) on a wheel route , and got a TD to AD after the PA.

I assume hot routing the other FB/RB/TE isn't against the rules. Someone ran pretty much that same play against me earlier in the season, and I liked how it resulted in the other back basically functioning as a lead blocker.

The third PA (no cancel or RB hot routing) was another incompletion...that should have actually been picked off.

Also, this was my favorite defensive play of the game. The WR motion tipped off the toss, and I was able to take a good angle to cut off Lacy without getting stuck on a lineman.
