LJ, I honestly don't know what you were thinking saying All Pro is comparable in the least to All Madden.

Yeah, what was I thinking, I've played like 200+ games on All-Pro, I don't notice a difference outside of block sheds. This is similar to the hot routing your HB on a PA play, it doesn't affect the AI yet some here say it does. You see what you see, I see what I see.

Can I sign anyone I want now?

I decided I will not have a horrible D this season and will make proper investments! What use is a pass rushing OLB if he's stuck on the line of scrimmage when I'm only rushing three? Coverage sacks only way to go this season.

I'm gonna write up a quick FA report on who's got who

Ugh FMT got Jordan Reed. I hate you Washington Racists.

WTF! DCX Gave Adonis Duncan 7 years! SEVEN YEARS FOR A BACKUP QB?

FMT now has 4 WR over 80 OVR and two TE over 90 OVR.

LJ only has 2 WR on his roster, but he has 3 TE over 80.

Guess I gotta work on covering TEs!

Free Agency is weird.

I'm 99% sure all pro is basically easy mode

I'm 99% sure it wouldn't matter, because you would just throw to the flats blind and pick up 5 no matter what mode it's on.

LJ only has 2 WR on his roster. Free Agency is weird.

And one is probably getting cut. My receivers are ass, O is ass. Receivers aren't that important honestly, speed is. You're not getting route running and release in Online Franchise unless the player was already on your roster. A 99 corner with 99 Man is beating a 99 WR with 99 release and 99 route running, so if I'm throwing against man I need routes that win against Man no matter the WR. If I'm facing zone, I just have to combo routes, and hope my awful OL holds up.

I think I'm just going to return the Astro A40s and the mixamp. Doesn't do what I thought it would, and doesn't even work on the PS4 the way it says it should. Comfy headphones, but meh, so many wires that essentially do nothing.

I could only get the microphone working on the PS4 when I unplugged the optical cable. MixAmp essentially acting like a analog to USB conversion for the ps4. No thanks.

GM FMT with a historic free agency

i got 3 starters out of FA, most of the other stuff is depth or because i wasn't sure i'd get them. after last seasons debacle in FA, in which i got like 2 guys i wanted and was left with $50+ mil in cap space, i wanted to make sure i got something this season.

kind of undervalued WR's and ended up with absolute junk. my #2 wr was rated a 64 at the start of the season. great at jump balls, but his route running is so bad he was basically worthless except for deep balls (and yes he did win me some games with it)

LJ says that speed is the most important factor, and sometimes i agree but i can definitely tell when a guy has piss poor route running or maybe it's some other stat but that 64 rated guy i had made the cuts in and out of his routes so fucking poorly that i don't know what else it could be (he has high speed). its kind of like running backs who are slow but have good ball carrier vision and other stats we don't think matters for a human player but they must

Nice, got a lot of the guys I wanted. RG3 will have to do since Rivers retired. Still got 40 million in cap space to play with.

You don't notice the absurd number of broken tackles by skill players or the increased frequency with which wide receivers win battles on covered deep balls?

Route running is super important imo. You can totally tell when someone has piss poor stats, zero seperation between DB's and it takes forever for them to make their cuts, which eats up time when you have people incoming on the blitz.

I'm super excited, we should be able to start the season after draft right? Give everyone ten minutes to do the pre-season prep stuff and we should be g2g?

can you never do this again

and probably, not sure what the vance schedule will be yet, i'll have to look through the order of things but it should be tomorrow night after the draft

7th pick may be available tomorrow. I only have a couple of must have guys on my list so if they're not there, I'd be willing to trade down.

Ok here is going to be the schedule for tomorrow:

1. Draft - 7 pm pst
2. Draft should end around 9 pm pst. At some point within 15 minutes after the draft ends, I will advance to the pre-season AT WHICH POINT FREE AGENCY IS OPEN. you can sign whoever you want. i will not personally be signing any free agents upon vancing.
3. once we have confirmed everyone is down to 53 players, we can advance to the regular season. YOU CAN ASSURE THIS HAPPENS QUICKLY BY CALCULATING WHAT YOUR ROSTER WILL BE AFTER YOUR DRAFT PICKS AND CUTTING NOW ACCORDINGLY. or you can wait until after the draft i dont give a fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck

any questions?

I have Akeem Ayers again! Always overachieved for me when I owned the Broncos. Got to resign my stud RBLK TE and Dion Sims, who somehow doesnt drop balls in Madden. Then I got my starting LBers back on the cheap, besides Jenkins who ended up costing me a bit more but hes a great LB to user, there's value in what your used to is what Im telling myself. Can't believe I got all that I did.

FMT, route running is important, however, in online franchise it's so rare that if you don't already have the guy on your squad you simply aren't getting him via the draft or FA. The one guy who makes it to FA will be bid up so high that you'll end up overpaying, though most people have so much space it doesn't even matter. It seems like you have a better chance of finding a speed guy and hope you can make him work than finding the high RTE receiver, which I see with your Ty signing, because he's awful at running that deep post and it got me sacked repeatedly throughout the year. I would love nothing more than 95 route running 85 speed Keenan Allen, he would rip up zones, but I'm not getting him in this franchise.

I mean you signed Ty and Britt, they both are shitty route runners, but at least Ty has that speed and Britt has the spec catch.

You don't notice the absurd number of broken tackles by skill players or the increased frequency with which wide receivers win battles on covered deep balls?

See you'll always have that in draft champs, because of the large disparity in ratings, but once you go MUT team vs MUT team with higher rated players, you don't see anymore than you would in our Franchise. I mean Gurley does some ridiculous shit at times, Tavon jukes everyone out of their shoes.

Drizz, I knew you were going to pick him up, I was going to offer him up for a pick but said fuck it, let him play out the year and then Drizz will sign him!

the sad thing is kenny britt would have been the 2nd best route runner on my team last year. i picked him up because i wasn't sure i'd get any of the others but he's not too bad in a pinch. also i picked up ty montgomery for possible KR/PR, i doubt he will see the field at WR unless there is an injury
