The fact that people are hyped about 5 year old Skyrim sort of illustrates their generational software problem tho. Everytime a new Nintendo system is revealed we get a list of companies who "will be there",and are ghost by year 2.

But the fact that im not completely disgusted by a system from them for the first time in awhile is a great start.

No, there's apparently a full Direct next week that will go into details and launch line up, etc. This was just a "preview" to build up hype.

With regards to online multi, apps, and 3rd parties, my expectations are really low. I just want this to be my SP Nintendo machine, and I think they'll be able to keep the games rolling in since they won't have to split their time between two platforms. On the other hand, this is a more powerful machine and they may need more resources, not programming on the 3ds. We'll see, I was excited about the possibility when I first heard about it, and today's reveal was pretty good.

There's the two that come with the console itself + the middle thing that comes withit to snap your two controllers into it to use as a console controller or there's the "pro" controller.

That's all they've shown.

So there's 1 extra controller as of now.

Just watched the first episode of Westworld. I can't decide if I love it or hate it. It's clearly nothing like the movie which annoys me and I am sure it'll be a Deadwood-alike where after a few episodes it becomes totally directionless and lost. If they wanted to do another show where they abuse horses I wish they had just brought back Luck.

It's definitely got some promise though.

"Look at em wriggle" was a pretty awesome line. But I hope they have a little more control than GoT writers and don't have full episodes of torture porn.
