I just don't get it.
I loved the 360 and I loved Xbox Live since the OG Xbox but I could see how potentially bad this launch was going to be.
How anyone can justify spending $100 more on a machine that has the same core function (playing games) as the PS4 but a) is underpowered and b) may or may not be fully functional with all of its "features" is baffling to me.
Its like buying a smartphone and the salesman tells you that none of the apps work but they are working on a fix. You can call and text though!

i'm struggling back and forth between keeping my pre-order or cancelling it. i honestly only want killer instinct but i feel like i could wait until later next year and then maybe get a bundle or something plus KI after season 1 is finished. i just don't know!

I already have ps4 and kill zone preordered. Nothing will change that
then spend that $550 on a few more ps4 launch games and a new graphics card

That's true, there probably won't be a better card between now and March so it wouldn't be just a stopgap, it'd be the first card for my new build. Hm.

The tweet is in reference to the next gen bf4 versions. But it looks to be a joke tweet.
I think nvidia has new cards planned for q1 to q2 2014 but these are going to be revisions. The new 20nm process doesn't happen until late 2014 and this is when we can expect some bigger jumps. The cards next year will be better but I doubt they'll be as good of a value we can get now.
Also, not worried about next week. Based McCown gonna light up the Packers d. Strategic injury by Jay because he always sucks against green bay.

if I wanted to max out what would I need? I still have a sandy bridge i2500k and radeon HD 6950 flashed to 6970
Depends on your definition of max. My definition is max settings at my resolution + 60fps. You won't get that with your setup. But if your definition of max is max settings at 30fps,that may not be out of the realm of possibility.
Your cpu is still fine, as long as you have it OC'd in the 4.4ghz + range.
