Yeah, I'm done with 08 after this season. It's just not the same without my Vikes. I haven't even bothered to learn my roster out side of Reggie and #12, whatever his name is.
Plus I haven't played another game since August and I hear that there's been some decent games released.

Hey Wellington, sorry I wasn't around last night for our game. Since the Colts game turned into a blowout, my guests demanded that Rock Band be started. 4 hours later and it's 1AM. I'm about to fall asleep at my work computer. :/

I'm back from Puerto Rico on Wednesday, and I should be able to get some games in on Wednesday night. Sorry for being behind, but the update really killed me b/c I planned to play both True and Ramirez that night.
Also, if Ram really quit, so is the replacement? I will have to get my games in either Wednesday or possibly Thursday night, and then I'm out again for three nights before coming back home for most of the week of the 17th.

Well that sucked. I knew something was wrong when we were able to complete an entire game finally. They had to get us at the end!
All I remember from my stats are the announcer saying James went over 100 yards and I threw 3 TDs (and 1 INT ) with Dirt Warner.
And Portis must have had 20 broken tackles!

That game with LJ was just a tale of two secondaries. Seems like the patch worked for him but not for me. :lol

Birdman, I decided not to rent the game tonight because I just got out of work and I still have to study for an exam tomorrow... I should have it tomorrow though.
Madden Gods paid me back for that last game with Wellie. Two fumbles on my first 3 drives, both came over the 50 yard line, and one was returned a long way. I clawed my way back over his 30 on the next drive and threw a pick on 3rd and long when I should have eaten the ball and gone for the easy 3.
Clawed my way back to 14-6 in the 3rd, and hit Evans with a deep pass to bring it within 2 early in the 4th. Converted 2pts on a miracle run by Marshawn, and tied up the game. Stopped him on 3rd and 2 with ~4min remaing, I asked Madden what to do (by accident) and he wanted me to run goal line. Silly Madden, it says he's punting so lets return it shall we. Only it turned it wasn't really a punt, but a fake. He ran for it and it paid off big time
Drove into my redzone, I blitzed all out, and the Cadillac found his way into the endzone. No worries I have 2 minutes remain. Hit a few plays to Price, a couple to Marshawn, and he came out with some soft pass coverage (at least I thought it was soft). Lets try the deep ball to Lee. Oh good, he's got seperation (Barber's old). The ball is in his hands, *Madden Sound* doooomp, oh wait he drops it on the one. :lol
I managed to get the ball over his 40 but it didn't matter, my entire O was drained/red, and he was able to hold it down. Good game Ando it was fun.
And you can cover Evans easily, just put a safety over him. I've seen it done time and time again.

OK, I finally have the game again and I should be able to play just about any time tonight, so just let me know (Birdman and DM).
SickBoy has not pulled out of the league, Jube... just pretty damn busy. Posted my general schedule on the last page (I think) in response to MrBob... I'd repost, but I'm almost out the door here.... the one difference to my schedule is I'm not available tomorrow afternoon.

The saga continues...
So the copy of the game I rented had a bunch of scratches on it and I couldn't start a game. It loaded up and went to the main menu, but anytime I went to start a game it would freeze.
I just took it back to the store and (go figure) they had no other copies available, so now I'm stuck with Virtua Fighter 5 until Sunday.
This game hates me.
