The latest details for the Habs Centennial Parade route have hit the internet.

Montreal is lucky that Florida shit the bed tonight as well.

And fuck it's nice watching the Sens play decently well again even if they don't have a realistic chance at the playoffs.

.....oh wait
:( Khabby hasn't been much better the last few games.... Then again the entire team has looked like shit for a few weeks now.... Hopefully the Kings can be the Blackhawks' slumpbuster.

Moment of truth tomorrow for the Bruins. Definitely going to be tuning into NESN ( <3 NESN, wish the Bay Area had an equivalent not owned by Suckcast ) for it.

Requesting GIF of the Canucks somehow managing to score on themselves on the delayed penalty. Holy shit. :lol
Will do it tomorrow, there is only a really shitty youtube at the moment.

to be fair, that goal shouldn't have counted. but it doesn't matter anyway, since we were already playing so terribly that game. we'll probably get to see vaananen now next game.

JUST 10 MORE Mr.Alfredsson.

I believe damn it!

Yes! I do too!
We don't have the easiest of schedules, but, frankly, we deserve to get into the playoffs only if we beat those top-end teams.

We're gonna need the Habs, Panthers and Sabres to lose a few more games too though.

Today's game is crucial and one we need to win.

Pittsburgh went 9-0-2 and there's no reason why we shouldn't be able to as well.

Ummm ... what happened last night? I didn't see the 2nd & 3rd periods which is a good thing I guess.

Phoenix? Really? I still don't believe it.

Why not? The Phoenix player never had control of the puck.

here's the rule from the NHL rulebook:

During the delayed calling of a penalty, the offending team cannot
score unless the non-offending team shoots the puck into their own
net. This shall mean that a deflection off an offending player or
goalkeeper, or any physical action by an offending player that may
cause the puck to enter the non-offending team’s goal, shall not be
considered a legal goal.
Play shall be stopped before the puck enters
the net (whenever possible) and the signaled penalty assessed to the
offending team.

again, it doesn't matter at all since the canucks were pretty terrible all game

props to philly today, they are playing a good game, taking care of their opportunities on the PP and standing up at the blueline.

Pens need a crowd rocking big hit to get back into this. The chippy stuff after the play just doesn't work cause we get penalized.

Nice left cross by Gonch... but now we are penalized.

i think both teams are playing pretty sloppy at times, and missing loads of chances. Biron has been insane the last 4 or 5 games for the Flyers. Watching the Flyers play the Red Wings a few days ago clearly makes me still uncomfortable because they do tend to have a shit streak for a few minutes, and against a team like the penguins, you can look up and be down 3-2

and whats with the pens being so undisciplined? They arent getting called on some of them, but man, not used ot seeing that

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
I would love to see a Philly/Pittsburgh 1st-round series. The only one I'd like to see more is Washington/Pittsburgh.

Looking at the standings, it looks like it's going to be one of those two.

Dammit, we needed this win...

We basically have got 18 points out of our last 10 games before today... I kinda expected a letdown game either today or against Calgary on Wednesday...

Can't win em all

Ya, I know but it just sucks it's against a division team... We need to win games like that. It matters a lot less when it's a team that doesn't matter.

Edit: Not to mention we've played more games than the teams underneath us which also worries me...

I think Philly is a bad matchup for the Pens come playoff time. Too much grit for the soft Pens.

Ya, and even without the grit we kept getting too hopped up and took a lot of stupid penalties. If we our emotions take us over like that we're screwed.
