Fuck yellowcard for ruining such a great song.

Well, I know we say it every year since like 1998, but - man! - this was the worst MTV Awards show ever.

I think the last one I really liked was with Jack Black. At least the parodies were funny then.

MTV decided to be dictators and not allow Nine Inch Nails to have an unaltered faceshot of George W. displayed behind them during their scheduled performance, so they said FU MTV. And I don't blame them. Fuckin' pussies, they all are (MTV execs).

I think the worst part about all of this is Napoleon Dynomite winning best movie. It's pretty obvious that MTV rigged this shit so that their movie(s) would win the show. What a crock of shit. ND was a box office flop, no one gave a shit about it.

napoleon dynamtie won? wtf? the nominees must really suck or something. or people just have bad taste

What? The film made 44 million and cost 400,000, no where near a flop. 44 million is pretty good, certainly plenty care about it. Believe it or not people have different tastes than you.

The MTV movie awards work on a poll...people vote for their favorite movies of the year. Out of SpiderMan 2, Ray, etc. etc...you actually believe ND won legitimately? I understand if you like the movie, but do you really believe it won legitimately?

Well the Foo Fighters performance was good!

Yea that was about the only good thing.

Alpha,I'm sure they only poll the TRL crowd.

Ninja Scooter, stop screaming for Tom.

Well, see, the thing that montage made me realize is that I don't mind Tom Cruise when he's in a movie - most are actually really cool. It's when he's not in a movie is when he's annoying and a stupid Scientologist.

The Leno interview last night was horrible. Everyone on those late night talk shows is on some form of a script, but then Tom Cruise is on it's so obviously scripted that it comes off as fake as you can get.

She broke her back and didn't find out til a few months from now? Tarantino=Nostrodamus!

Drugs. Tarantino is always on something when he appears on a awards show or talk show.

Good lord did this show suck. My expectations going in were that it was going to be absolute shit and it was much much worse than that. Not a single thing worth noting.

Alpha, you are completely out of touch with what the audience that would participate in a poll for the MTV Movie Awards. Mean Girls and Napoleon Dynamite were -the- popular movies amongst that audience in this past year. Not Ray. Not Spider-Man 2. But Napoleon Dynamite and Mean Girls. To see them NOT win would have been incredibly surprising, and you can argue MTV's ability to manipulate and rig all you want, but this is one instance where I'd say MTV did little to change any results.

So why was Chris Tucker at the show? He hasnt done a movie in 3-4 years. Was he just bumming off free food and drinks?
