That was THE MOST depressing game I have ever played. It was just depressing. The only upside is that Matrix beat me and not someone I've never played before. It was ****ing terrible. I don't think I've ever been that angry and out of control during a game.
I had a great 1st half...really kept it close, but then...I don't know what the **** happened in the 2nd half, I had the worst 3rd quarter in the history of video basketball. I just lost all control, all luck..everything. I had no fun whatsoever in the 2nd half, no fault of matrix. No worse feeling (in a game) than getting your ass blown out in basketball. It's just such a powerless feeling God I fall apart in league games like the anus of a 50 year old pornstar. I can beat DM and matrix in custom games but I get my ass kicked in league games. Man that was just a weak effort

When you quickly get down by 15-20, it's really really hard to play smart and take your time every possession..and when I do that I seem to miss and then get scored on. :lol I'm not sure if I need practice or if I just need to play smarter in league games. edit: As far as the stats go, they're being recorded correctly on XBL so whenever they start posting on the site again, it'll all be up to date. The box score for that game is lost for good since I assume Tru edited it w/o noticing the stats were all zeros...

Regarding the SIM play discussion:
- 38 shots with one player is a lot. It's becomes ridiculous if it's a game you're winning easily. You do realize injuries are turned on right? If you have a blowout, play some subs...
- 44 shots with one player trying to come back is also garabge and you're not gonna beat anyone decent that way. I mean, seriously...

- This whining about manual D has got to stop. You can't drive the lane with your PG all game cos your opponent wised up and let the AI stick him? Cry me a frikken river :lol
I personally don't play exclusively one way or the other (It depends on who I'm playing and the game situtuation) but I think trying to mandate manual D would be stupid.
I put a poll up just in case though...

Some people don't care though. But the reason we are trying to enforce this a bit guys is because of Bog. A couple of years back he had Bo Outlaw on the Suns and just shot everytime down the floor with him and only him, it was horrible.
So before anyone gets all upset cause we call you out for taking 40+ shots with one player remember it's all Bog's fault.

OUCH...three pointer to lose the game. DCX had a good strategy of playing 4 shooting guards and a center. He played zone all game and when I threw into my bigs we would double everytime going to the steal. I did not figure him out till the second half, and he stole one with a last second three from Marbury. Go figure!!
The lesson...don't give people practice games before you play them in your league. He saw enough of me to come up with a plan that kept him close and eeked out a win at the buzzer.
