Forgot about the Owl's August 7 post since he didn't mention it in his latest one. I just walked in, so I'll advance now.
Not seeing any advancement from the web options yet, though. But I'll probably keep advancing from the console unless I know I won't be around to do it.
If you guys wanna hold on off on advancing to Season 2 a bit, I'm cool with it. They do say we can do everything up to "Training Results" in the offseason though, so we can just let it sit for a bit after we do recruiting until the update goes live.
And I'm not gonna say any names, but people, you don't have to PM me everytime on XBL to ask about when I'm advancing. I'm usually around when everybody plays their games, so that's when I advance, whenever that is. Just wait!

GG, man. I had a couple big plays help me get a healthy lead and then some luck on defense to finish it off. Didn't feel like I could really pass all that comfortably against you, so I figured I'd try my luck with the running game.
GG Az. Really took it to me with the zone read option. I haven't seen that executed as well as you did so far. I got down and gave up on running early. I had a few tough breaks but you clearly outplayed me. Good luck to you the rest of the way and I'll be waiting for you next season!

My damn 360 has locked up twice now. WTF?!
SuperSimming this game against UCLA confirms my beliefs that it's meant to screw you over. My QB couldn't complete any passes while the opposing QB seemingly made every third and long. CPU fake punted once and successfully went for it on 4th and long on my side of the field. A million penalties called on my team. Probably would have had better luck the past 2 games if I had just simmed normally. Good thing I'm still using the free 7 day trial for SuperSim, but I'm even debating if I should even try the next game.

Yeah I hear ya, I was trying to throw that screen pass to the running back and he was jammed up by OL/DL and his symbol wasn't available, I jammed that sucker down a few times and when it appeared I think that resulted in a pick. Crazy thing is my defense has been keeping me in games. Aside from my human games our strength of schedule is at or slightly above our team's talent level so it's not like I'm getting killed. I even hung with Notre Dame till the 4th quarter (or not looking at the box score, but it felt like it!). It just sucks that my only player on offense that can really do anything is my HB, and even on Ohio's 2 yard line for the game win my line couldn't do jack to give him space.
You guys talk about getting shitty 3* WRs, but the one I did get lucky enough to nab is gonna be a team savior!

Feel free to advance. I finished vs. UCONN a little bit ago. Struggled earlier, couldn't run well, and my OL couldn't pass protect. Felt like Jay Cutler out there.

Guess the website's still not working for recruiting. Anyways, I'll just recruit later and you can sim my game against the CPU. SuperSim sucks.

Man, I had an amazing game stats wise against Ole Miss, but my router reset, d/c me and the game ended up not counting even though I connected back ASAP. It was in a blizzard and I had like 8 sacks, 4 FFs, lol.
I still won the 2nd game, but the cpu was in god mode for the first quarter, was down by two scores within like 3-4 minutes. Looks like I'll have nothing but cpu games from here on out this season, boo.

Man I just experienced an all time kick in the nuts. USC came back and beat me 21-17. My offense was inept yet again. I'm down 14-10 in the 4th qtr and my SS Anthony Perkins picked off his second pass of the game, returns this one 107 yards for a TD. Marc Tyler of USC was too much to handle and barreled his way in for the go ahead TD. Returned the kickoff for a TD only to be called back by holding which seems to be the case anytime I get a decent return led alone my first TD. Damn
