Why did the Cowboys ever even pass? Just run with Barber all day. Washington run defense is ass. Cowboys line is pretty good at running.

Because Barber wasn't running that great til the 4th quarter. Barber had like like half his yards in the 4th quarter...because the defense was so tired. The redskins offense couldn't stay on the field. If the redskins O-line could block it might've been a different story because they got great field position on a lot of drives.

Is it wrong that I'm still laughing at McNabb for not knowing the OT rules? :lol

someone on the eagles site mentioned how some of the players who were last involved in a tie game, back in 97, also did not know the rules.

i seriously hope this is not common among NFL teams. or maybe i hope it is and its not just some eagles players thing.

Wrong. He was averaging over 5 going into the 4th.

Is McNabb a captain? The ref tells you the rules at the OT coin flip.

College rules overtime damnit.

but start it at the 50, at least have to gain a few yard before the game is decided by some sissy kickers

Man Romo looked great. Only one real bad decision and he paid dearly for it. But more than a few of his incompletions were just guys dropping easy catches. But this offense still seems flawed against physical defenses, like Washington or New York. Surely with Witten, TO, Roy Williams and Barber it can't be THAT hard to make teams pay for playing constant bump and run, especially with the offensive line playing as well as they did.

Washington should have thrown it deep more often.

who do they play next? it might continue for a while...
Pregame before the Sunday Night Football game, the talk was all about Dallas. Romo, Owens, Jerry, etc. It's nauseating. Of course when they beat SF and SEA, there becomes more talking.

Zorn really needs to start opening up the offense a little more. Campbell's got an arm on him, and we spent our first 3 draft picks on receivers (along with already having Moss, ARE and Cooley). Lets go down the field a bit more and chill with the 2 yard screen passes.

SF? Fuck that. Cowboys going down!

:lol

This is why Barber III is in my avatar and on my fantasy team. He is fucking sick. I'm glad Romo is finally back, it gives Barber more room to run since defenses are no longer stuffing the box and telling Brad Johnson to swing away. We're back in the wildcard chase. I'm not gonna say the next two games are gonna be a walk in the park (see: Rams) but it'll give Romo a chance to lose the rust and for the offense to start clicking and start fucking shit up on all gears. Hells to the yea.

So, how about those Phillies? I wish Andy would get demoted or booted. Unfortunately, Philly will continue to run out my Black Super Heroes if they can't win the big one. I miss you, Chuck, AI, and now, Donny. I hate Philly teams sometimes.

Uh, NFL players are just dumb.

And it will remember that, although there had only been 16 ties since the NFL went to a sudden-death, 15-minute overtime format in 1974, McNabb didn't know that games could end in ties. He wasn't alone - count Trent Cole, Omar Gaither, Quintin Mikell and Tra Thomas in McNabb's category - but he's the quarterback. He should've known.

omg how sweet it would be to go into dallas and effectively put the second to the last nail in the cowboys coffin (final nail will be put in sometime after we beat them).

go niners!!!!!

Shaun Hill + Alex Smith's ghost is leading this team to the playoffs. 9-7 or bust!

lol Giants fan.

You are 9-1. Cowboys are just a polarizing team, and they know that people either love or hate them, so they cover them plenty. Seriously, this whole hatred of the Cowboys isn't their fault, they didn't ask for all of this stupid coverage. The reason the pregame was about them was because it was a must win for them...

Don't mind them bro, there's been a lot of fake Cowboys fans showing up around when they win and disappearing when they lose. Just stick around.

I generally watch the games at bars/downstairs/not by my computer so I can't be posting while stuff is happening during the game but maybe sometime I will be able to! Eh well, I can see why people get touchy, Cowboys are #1 at amassing bandwagon fans.

Blame woodchuck for his hilarious "The media disrespects the Cowboys!" spiel from 6 weeks back or so.

uh no. i always said it was keyshawn jackson + tom jackson disrespects the cowboys.

and you guys are complaining about all the coverage on the cowboys. no shit. when we suck, all the coverage is about how much we suck. when we're good, all the coverage is about how we're good.

it's not like they're constantly ball washing us even if we're 6-10

For those of you that keep complaining about your OL being the worst drive killers and your offense sucking or your WRs being morans, I present you, the Raiders' typical drive!
It was first-and-goal at the 5-yard line, with the help of a gift 41-yard pass interference penalty on Yeremiah Bell agaisnst Ashley Lelie and a 27-yard strike from JaMarcus Russell to Zach Miller.

Surely, the Raiders, with one offensive touchdowns in 60 first-half possessions all season, would break through and take a 10-3 lead into halftime.

Justin Fargas gained a yard to the 4 on first down.

Then came the trifecta:

False start on Kwame Harris, bringing up second-and-goal from the 9.

Coach Tom Cable dialed up a halfback pass from Darren McFadden. One problem. There wasn’t anyone out in the pattern. McFadden was forced to take a 5-yard sack, making it third-and-5.

Another false start on Harris, making it third-and-19.

Russell then hit Miller for a fairly meaningless 16-yards to the Miami 3-yard line, and Sebastian Janikowski came in to take the three points.

...and that's how it usually goes. This is why they haven't scored an offensive TD in 13 quarters.

PelicanSurf if you're gonna bandwagon you better get the image dimensions down right. Its 90x 120 Sir.

jesus christ the raiders how bad can you possibly get.

At the bar I go to there is only 1 raiders fan. He shows up weekly rocking all Raiders gear and has his own personal HDtv set to the Raiders game. Five minutes into the game is usually when he starts yelling and cussing at the tv at a very scary tone (he's there by himself). I kinda feel bad for the guy. You should've seen him when the Raiders got shut out by the Falcons. Raiders fans are the toughest fans out there.

Your avatar is too big. The dimensions are 90x120; if you don't fix it soon, some mod is going to permanently replace you avatar with one that basically says you don't know how to read.
