They didn't ask for this coverage? Hmm. Makes sense. That team surely isn't full of divas.pakkit said:lol Giants fan.
You are 9-1. Cowboys are just a polarizing team, and they know that people either love or hate them, so they cover them plenty. Seriously, this whole hatred of the Cowboys isn't their fault, they didn't ask for all of this stupid coverage. The reason the pregame was about them was because it was a must win for them...

It doesn't have to be exactly 90x120, but the forum auto re-sizes to match the width, so if you have one that is under the width, it will enlarge it proportionately to match 90.methodman said:Does it have to be 90x120?
Players ESPN and the other media outlets always rage their mouths onto or have in the past because of getting into trouble:pelicansurf said:T.O. is the only that would possibly qualify as a diva. Who else jumps into the spotlight to talk about the team in a positive/negative light constantly?

There's always a "story" with the team and it's tiresome.

and you guys are complaining about all the coverage on the cowboys. no shit. when we suck, all the coverage is about how much we suck. when we're good, all the coverage is about how we're good.
it's not like they're constantly ball washing us even if we're 6-10

Giants are beatable. Even though they are probably the best team in the league so far (with the Titans being the only team that is on their level), that doesn't mean shit once the post season starts. Any team with a good defense and smart HC will give them a game. And if the Giants catch some bad breaks they could even lose to a crappy team in the playoffs.Dark FaZe said:Last nights Skins/Boys game confirmed what everyone here already knows. The Giants are going to fucking destroy everyone they encounter in the playoffs with ease if they stay healthy. Won't even break a sweat.

If Pittsburgh learns how to punt the ball and develops an average offensive attack they can beat anyone (these are some big mothereffin "ifs"). If Indy gets their running defense together for a few games and gives Peyton some time they can be very dangerous. The Jets might cause problems too but I really have no idea how good they actually are and you never know when Farve is going to start slangin.
The Cards could be dangerous in the NFC, but I don't know if I trust their defense or Kurt Warner if the rush starts to get to him. Carolina is probably a more serious spoiler if they can get a consistent pass attack going. And if Peppers plays well he can win a playoff game by himself. I still think the Cowboys are soft, but their offense was looking decent again with Romo behind center.

Did you hear about Derrions shoulder pads? asked Blue Springs South quarterback Blaine Dalton, a teammate of defensive end Derrion Thomas.
I guess by now, everyone knows he wore his dads shoulder pads tonight. It was freaky out there he reminded me of his dad all night. I was watching No. 33, but I felt like I was watching No. 58.
No. 33 is Derrion, a senior defensive end who made life unbearable for Rockhurst quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase Friday night at South.
Thomas harassed, pounded and chased down Scheelhaase all night long, collecting five sacks and four other tackles to lead the Jaguars to stunning 14-9 Class 6 state quarterfinal victory.
He was wearing shoulder pads that featured a No. 58 sticker.
They were the shoulder pads his father, the late Derrick Thomas, wore for the Kansas City Chiefs.
To be fair the Steelers are on their third punter. The team has been killed by injuries and at this point it sucks but you just have to suck it up and make the best with what you have.harSon said:No fucking shit, punting under 25 yards twice in a single game while healthy is absolute bullshit :lol Our return game is also a joke, we only receive a moderate amount of turnovers so our field position is typically laughable. A short field would go a long ways in helping our struggling offense put some points on the board...

I didn't like Tomlin's call to go for it on 4th down near the goal line or the decision to kick the 51 yard field goal (when they all know no one has ever made a FG of that length and there is a reason for that!). But, at the same time I loved the fact we finally went to more short passes and screens to take the pressure off of Ben and more importantly the offensive line. And it really helped in the second half and the O-line played great. If shows we can move the ball playing like that and if we take away some of the penalties we will score some points doing it. At some point you have to play to your personnel. We don't have the line to give Ben time to get the ball downfield consistently. Instead we have to do the dink and dunk and let our defense keep us in games.
Also love seeing Ben lead us to yet another 4th quarter come from behind win.![]()
I am not. We are ridiculously stacked on defense this year. This is probably one of the best Steeler defenses I have ever seen and they are deep at almost every position. The Steelers can stop the run, rush the passer and defend the pass. The only way you are going to move the ball against the Steelers is with misdirection.harSon said:I'm still amazed that our pass coverage is as good as it is even with our injuries at cornerback.

Speaking of butthurt you seem to be pretty sensitive about any commentary about the Giants. I wasn't even being overly critical or mentioning how horrible some of Eli's first quarter INTs were.Wellington said:
Why are you so butthurt about the Giants? Did the fact that Tom Brady went down cause you to look for another object of affection? A smart HC and a good defense will give anyone a tough game. If any team catches some bad breaks they could lose to a crappy team in the playoffs. What are you going to say next, if another team scores more than the Giants, they could win?
And about the Cardinals, they have all the tools on defense to be great. How long did it take for the Giants defense to gel? They let up a ton of points to the Pats in week 17, as an example. If you can put up points, you can win in this league. The Cards are the worst possible matchup for us, and I think we will have a tough battle next week.
If Peppers plays well he can win a playoff game by himself? Why block anyone else? The Giants had a D-Line with Strahan, Osi, and Tuck, but Peppers by himself is better? Great analysis.

TAMPA, FLORIDA (TICKER) Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Earnest Graham likely is done for the season.
Graham suffered an ankle injury on his first carry in Sundays win over the Minnesota Vikings.
On Monday, Buccaneers coach Jon Gruden said he does not expect to see Graham back on the field this season.
