Can I just say, I hope Westbrook comes back quickly, if only for his blocking. Too many times, Tony Hunt and Buck just fuckin wiffed on a block. We'll get murdered in Chicago if we can't have a dependable running back who can block. Jesus, Westbrook is so nice running, catching but best of yet, getting a block on a guy before releasing or even just staying to protect. This game, showed me how valuable he is. Westbrook is a beast.

And, fuck you Reid for running that flea flicker. Reid is to blame. He has done it for 10 years. Falls in love with a play and runs it multiple times during the season until everyone catches on. Why can't he hold that in his pocket until the time is right. It's supposed to SURPRISE the other time. It's not a surprise when the team has seen it on your last 3 game films.

Damn Sports Center Rundown just called the Ravens a pretender... ouch... even if I'm not sold on the Ravens myself still..... :(

And we were the only AFC leader called a Pretender. :(

FU Trent Dilfer you sour grapes bitch.

Well, come on. I think Dilfer can pretty much say anything he wants considering how the Ravens handled him.

The only reason the Ravens are considered a pretender is because they have a rookie running their offense. The defense, aside from safeties who lead with their helmet, is healthy, and thus great. The young O-line is handling itself well. If Flacco learns how to complete a pass, they will be pretty scary.

Until then, they are going to have trouble with a team like the Steelers. In the same way that the Ravens will probably crush Ben and FWP, I expect the same to happen to Flacco and the Ravens' RBBC.

I always go to Pittsburgh for Ravens @ Steelers, and I'm looking more forward to it this year than I have in the past two. Unlike in past years, the teams seem very evenly matched this time around. Obviously Ben can light up the Ravens D, but with the Steelers' O-line not knowing what pass blocking is, he has almost as good of a chance of being battered. If it were any other QB playing behind that line, I'd fear for his life, but this is Big Ben we are talking about, and injured though he may get, he cannot be killed.

I am really looking forward to seeing if Bart Scott is still all talk and no action. I hope Hines lays him out again just for another epic freak out from Scott. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy, that's for sure.

It is going to be a defensive struggle. I have no faith in a guy named Flacco to light up our defense.

Just like I also don't have faith that the Steelers are going to be able to handle the Ravens' blitzes. :(

There will be blood after this one is over and it will likely be the blood of Flacco and Ben. :(

Their qb is a guy with no proven track record. You can count on one hand the number of rookie quarterbacks that had a successful first season. I don't think Joe Flacco is going to be going on that list...

I agree with just about all of this. Flacco will do nothing. Even if he could complete a forward pass, who is he going to throw to? Heap stinks, Mason is completely done, and Clayton is useless unless you run a double reverse, apparently.

But yeah, it will be a defensive struggle unless Ben find Santonio early/often again, which, though possible, doesn't seem likely given the how banged up Ben now is, how much pressure he will be under, and how awful the line (particularly Colon and Simmons) are playing.

They need to bring Spaeth in more often. After watching Miller against the Eagles, its abundantly clear that he will provide better support for Ben up front. It's not like he's got hands of stone and dude is, what, 6'7" or something ridiculous like that? Keep him and Miller in, give the line all the help they can get. It's not like Nate Washington is some great weapon Ben will miss.

Oh well, at least the defense is still playing really well and getting turnovers. That's a nice surprise, especially the interceptions. You tend not to see a lot of those for the Steelers D, but they are doing well. But with Hampton out, I guess it'll fall to Hoke to step up. At least Smith is still healthy.

anybody know a way to edit espn league lineups for future weeks? Going to be on vacation for a little bit and it doesn't seem like theres anyway. I did figure out how to set my survivor league picks in advance for yahoo, but that was easy.
